[2019 Upgraded ] Ultrasonic Pest Repeller, Aerb 10W Plug-in Insect Repeller, 2 Pack Electronic Portable Pet Safe Device-Repels Away Fleas, Bugs,Mosquito, Mice, Insect, Ants, Spiders, Rat & More (Blue)

This is a total waste of money and did NOTHING to deter the ants in my house. They were even happy to climb all over the units. I googled (too late) to see if there is scientific data to say if these type of devices work, and not surprisingly, they are not proven to work. In 2001 the FTC even warned manufactures and retailers that claims of efficacy must be backed by scientific data (google "FTC Warns Manufacturers and Retailers of Ultrasonic Pest-control Devices"). Basically it says that without showing your scientific evidence, any claims made are not in compliance with American consumer law, though I notice these unverified claims are also on the amazon.com. Bottom line.... don't waste your money. (The plus side is: it arrived quickly, looks good, and is easy to use. But those don't count for anything if it doesn't function as intended).

Purchased these as we have mice getting into the loft and wanted a humane way of getting rid of them. I've noticed that there has been a reduction in movement since putting them in but it can take a few weeks to clear them out. These are completely silent to humans and I was worried incase the dogs got affected bit they haven't. Really good so far very happy with my purchase

We are not yet into the main insect season, but we have had a few flies and wasps around of late, but none since both units from the twin pack were installed 3 days ago. The Repellers are a simple 'plug and go' product, with 2 levels of acoustic emission settings. I have both of mine set at level 2, with one on the half landing, and the other 10m away in another room. Our cat is not bothered by the units, which emit a barely audible tone, and pleasant blue pulsating light, which adds a little dramatic effect. The units are sturdy enough for the task, and are visually better than others in the same product range. I have installed one of the units alongside my plug-in Arlo doorbell, to determine what effect if any it would have on the wifi signal to the doorbell. I am pleased to confirm that there is no electromagnetic interference from the Repeller.The instructions supplied with the system state that it can take up to 4 weeks to fully calibrate and provide optimal repellence, but so far it is doing what it is designed to do. I will take these units over to my house in Spain later this year, where they will undergo a full workout as we are plagued with flies and mosquitos during the summer months, and will provide a further performance update then.

We have this for about 3 weeks and I can't see the difference. As it says that well get better after the 4th week. We will keep them on for a little while and if they doesn't work will return them. SorryI will update this review in a little while.*** UPDATE ***This items doesn't work and I would like to send them back for a refund.Absolutely disappointed

First off let me say that all my questions asked to the sellers were answered promptly. I have a really big dog and a young child so we tend to have alot of flys, I had to ask weather it affected pets and little ones happy to report that it doesn't. We dont have as many fly's as we normally would at this time of year I would say we are down by over 90% in our house which for me is a total relief.

Bought these as I was sick of all types of creepy crawlies in the house. My back door is open all day I’m at home due to having dogs. Since they have been plugged in I have not seen one fly or spider in the house and I am delighted. Great you two in the pack so I have one upstairs one downstairs

Very fast delivery great communications from the supplier. The unit is quite compact and you have different settings probably so if you find the lowest setting is not as effective you can then press the button to boost it onto ultrasonic although it does then make a mild buzzing noise probably like an industrial pest repellent. Or the 3rd option is to turn the blue light off. I used a previous earlier version and that definitely worked as no flying insects about the home so this is an improved version and I don't see any reason for this not to work as well, if not better than that old one

These two little things are magical. I can't believe that they work, but they do. They were bought after reading the reviews in favour of another one. They are two in a packet and were bought to deter flies. Not that I have many flies, but I can't stand them and the buzzing annoys me. The instructions are very small to read so I just plugged them in, held down the button for a few seconds until the blue came on. There is a slight annoying buz so they were placed where I wasn't sitting and after a day it wasn't so annoying. I suppose I either got used to the noise or it settled down. Flies comes in and after a while they disappear as if by magic. I also put one in the conservatory as the flies goes to the ceiling and they too have disappeared. As mine are used to deter flies, I switch them off at night by pressing the button until the light goes off. I am very pleased with my purchase and they are much more pleasant than a can of fly spray.
