Pro Pliers
replacing some of the tools I lost over the years and these were a good replacement. I don't need this good a tool any longer, but I like good tools. These are a very good pliers and half the price of the tool I lost, so I'm very happy.

Great Plier for Safety Wiring
I used the plier for safety wiring on Lycoming engines for oil filters. Good grasp on the thin safety wire sand jaws hold the wires well. I used this plier to start and finish the wire / fine-tune the twist while used the specialty safety wiring plier for the middle of the twist. They complement each other well and are a must in my aviation maintenance tool bag.

They're good, but don't always grip the best.
These have jaws with straight serrations. They grip okay but my snap on duckbills with crosshatching grip better.These don't nick safteywire so that's their main use.

Awesome pliers! Just like every Knipex tool I've bought. These are one of the few tool brands that are worth the extra money. All Knipex stuff seems to be precision made and well thought out... only pliers I'll buy anymore. Got my first set off the Snap-On truck for twice the price, because the handle said Snap-On on it.
