Written with humor and love
Other than being an SLP as is the author, I have little in common with the rest of Rose Godfrey's life. I live in a brought up two children and live in a Metropolitan area; she has a houseful of children and lives on a farm. I enjoyed the view into that life in many ways different from my own. But more importantly, I realized that while the juggling act is different, there is something in each vignette that I could relate to: with a chuckle...and sometimes a sigh.

Good stuff
I loved how the stories were written and how at the end of each chapter there is a really good thought question. I could relate to the stories and liked how the question would make you really think about your life. This is a nice easy read. Good for night time ready - short chapters, smooth style.

Laugh out loud funny as well as a thoughtful book about kids, homeschooling and family.
Great book written by a friend of mine. Laugh out loud funny and also a thoughtful at times book. Rose and Brian's family is a huge source of fun and learning on their family farm. I also enjoyed The Pig in the Pantry. Great gift for the homeschooling parent.

Thought provoking, laugh-out-loud amusing, and truthful. A quick read and not a single dull thought in the bunch. I recommend it!

Ok
I was hopping this was going to be a humorous book but I was disappointed in it. I didn't even read the whole book, didn't find it very good.

HUMOUROUS AND MOVING
Although quite a short book I really enjoyed it. On one level it is in parts extremely funny however on a deeper level it is extremely moving. It illustrates aspects of life and the rearing of children which are common to us all. Although I am not conventionally religeous I respected the religious annotations in the book and was able to relate to most of them. However, I do not think this book will be to everyones taste but as it is a free book there is nothing to lose.
