Yamaha 5C Baritone Saxophone Mouthpiece, Standard Series

When I first bought my Bari, I decided to cheap out and get a $30 Rico mouthpiece and it was bad to be honest. I decided to upgrade and this was a huge improvement and easier to use, it’s definitely more expensive but it’s worth it compared to the $30 Rico.

My son needed a mouthpiece for his saxophone, and this was recommended by both the band director and my brother-in-law who plays professionally. We are super pleased with the quality, fit, comfort, and sound from this mouthpiece. The only thing that would have made it better is if it came with a ligature.

Great sounding mouthpiece that has been great for marching, concert, and jazz band uses. My son was very happy with it! Fit perfectly on the neck on his bari sax, did exactly what it was supposed to do, and was a great price for what we needed

This was a considerable upgrade from the stock mouthpiece that came with my Mendini by Cecilio baritone. I am a tenor player, so I am brand new to baritone - the slightly more relaxed embouchre takes a little getting used to, but I'm loving the sound I'm getting!

It its very difficult to explain to a non musician or a non saxophone player about mouthpieces, because there are several factors involved. I need more time to make a judgement. Yamaha are a known and respected player so the item is in good condition and delivery was reasonably prompt.
