Unless your merchants a ddouchebag like the one i had earlier today*I Think its cuz ...
Bought mine from DC platinum. After 2 weeks the emv reader stopped working. DC sent me a replacment in a day after my report. He deserved a 5 star. Now for the machine......it takes within 10 minutes to fully set up. Unless your merchants a ddouchebag like the one i had earlier today*I Think its cuz the products from amazon and not through us. ... but yeah.. if this emv reader wont go out on me again i would give it a 4 star, it works easy and fine for me no need for training just play with it for a minute. 4 star because it is slow to print out reciepts.

Machine is locked
We purchased this machine in the past and had no issues. Everything worked fine, so we decided to purchase another to have as a back-up. When we brought this new one to the bank to be programmed, we were informed that the machine is locked and cannot be unlocked. Our bank is unable to load their software and the machine is useless. It was beyond Amazon's return window, so we contacted the seller but to date, there has been no response. Also contacted Verifone, however after providing them with the serial number, was informed that they did not program the machine originally and are unable to provide assistance. Very disappointing,

Great machine easy to install works great with COX Communication Internet service and works with what ever US Bank linked it too. Easy to use indeed

easy to set up
Credit card processing company wanted a boat load of money for a new terminal, found this one here on Amazon for much less. Exactly what I needed, easy to set up, works great. Came with all cords needed and one roll of paper.

Works well but limited paper size
We thought this was the same as our previous machine but this one only holds quite small rolls of paper because the plastic casing is flatter. We had a case of medium sized paper rolls that we had to rewind into smaller diameters. We have to change paper too often now. Also, the default receipt has a place for a tip, which we don’t want. Haven’t had time yet to call tech support to change this option. Otherwise, machine works well.
