Hostas arrived in excellent condition.
The Hostas arrived with beautiful, healthy roots. The dirt was very rich dark quality too. There were already leaves growing as well. I must say the bulbs arrived in extremely healthy condition. It is early April. I planted them the day they were received. The temperature has been high 50’s F day & high 30’s F night or higher. They are doing fine so far. I am anxious to see how well they grow.

Didn’t grow
I am an avid gardener. These didn’t grow at all. The problem I am finding when ordering plants and bulbs online is that by the time you find out if they are good seeds/bulbs- it’s to late to receive a refund for bad seeds/bulbs.

Growing well
The plant arrived healthy. It is growing well and holding up in the hot weather.

This year is just not my year
Half of them were half dead, they had root rot. So I took them out to see if they would dry out and sadly they just died.

Large and flowering already
I planted the Pips and then transplanted them to the garden area. I love Hostas. I need a bit more shade.

Not viable
2 bare roots and a partial root that looked like it might grow. Not flourishing like other roots I have bought. Maybe I will get 1 plant, not 3 like I paid for.

just a bag of dirt
Ordered two sets and both were awful. They were shipped, received, and opened by us quickly, so I can't blame transit as the issue. The meager roots were the width of thread and there was no sign of life-no bud, no indication of the possibility of a bud. Roots themselves were brittle. Each bag had about a quarter of a cup of bone dry light brown earth. That's it. We've ordered multiple hostas from multiple sources over the years, and thought this particular rare variety would be a great addition to our garden. Save your money. Go with another seller.
