Organize It AllOver-The-Door 18 Pair Hanging Wire Shoe Rack

I got this for my daughter for her dorm and she absolutely loves it. It holds a good amount of shoes and it’s very sturdy. Super easy to set up as well.

Good quality.Assembly is not complicated.Although strong hands are definitely needed for assembling.Measure the width of your door.I didn't.Measure the depth behind the door where the shoes will stick out.I didn't.My closet door is too narrow.Every bedroom door opens against a wall.Not enough depth.Even the laundry room door opens against a wall.Sigh.Don't mess up.Measure!!I'm giving this shoe rack 5 Stars because it's worth it.

This shoe rack is perfect if a) you do want to use it over-the-door and b) if you have smallish feet. Its adequately durable, was quick to set up for a simpleton like myself, and does its job very nicely with no hassle. However, in our case, we wanted to mount it to a wall, which the instructions do indicate as an option, and this was not as hassle-free: Be aware that you will need to actually cut the metal door hooks which would normally hang this over the door. We don't happen to have a metal shop in the apartment so I took the hooks to an auto body shop and they cut it nice and neat, very quickly. Works great, although we won't be able to switch back to over-the-door in the future. Just a head's up. The other thing is, my size 8.5 men's shoes (not that big as guys go) cannot fit on the rack side-by-side, so for every pair of shoes there needs to be an empty hook between the next pair. In other words, I would basically fit 2 pair on each tier of this rack. Not bad! But not optimal. My wife, on the other hand, wears women's size 5w, and you could fill the whole rack easily, no hassle, nice and tidy, etc. So, bear that in mind if you have loads of guy's shoes you need to hang- this is maybe not the best solution for that.

I have size 12 women's wide width shoes on the rack and some hats. I'm very happy with it. I did have to use my hammer to get the racks to snap on because I couldn't do it with my own strength.

Most of the included hardware did not work or fit. I had to go buy screws/hardware. This product is NOT made to hold many shoes due to lack of stability and really not a product to hold shoes. Wish I had my money back.

Some of the "E" parts in my kit had the arrow printed on the wrong side. This is why it's important to read the entire assembly instructions before starting! My instinct was to make all the arrows point in the same direction, but I ended up installing a couple upside down before I noticed and had to pull them out. Other building note: needs a screwdriver, doesn't come with one. Otherwise easy to put together and seems sturdy.

I bought this rack to hang my collection of scarves on the back of my door. Works great! My scarves are easy to find and are not crumpled by being stuffed in a drawer. After considering several other wire shoe racks, I chose this one because of the lower rating on others. I am glad that this is the one I got; the quality is good and the look is nice. I like the gray metallic finish, and the black rubber tops on the wires gives it some extra strength and makes it look sharp. Easy easy easy to put together - no tools required!. I was a bit concerned that it felt a bit wobbly when I first put it together, but when hung on the door it had the support of the door and is sturdy and secure. I couldn't be happier - now my daughter wants one for the same function.

nothing to be excited about, but it works fine. There was what may be a slight alignment issue with one set of holes, or it may be brilliant engineering to utilize torque to help hold things tighter. I'm not sure. Regardless, it works well. The spacing from shoe to shoe is very tight, but that's looking at mens shoes all side by side. They fit, just very tight. I try to keep one space open beside pairs that I wear most often to make it easier to grab them. Mixed sizes or kids would probably be fine. And to be honest, it works fine with mens too, just a little tighter.All in all, no complaints, and would buy again if I were to go back in time.
