Skechers Unisex-Child Glimmer Lights Sneaker

UPDATE:I'm amending my previous review; thanks to someone who replied to my review, we learned that there's an on/off switch on the velcro strap and it's very easy to overlook! We really thought we had defective shoes, but turns out she must have been accidentally hitting the button when fastening her shoes. When we clicked the button again, they started working again. So now we feel pretty dumb, but sharing this in spite of ourselves in case it helps someone else, too!ORIGINAL:We've gone through two pairs now and in both cases, one shoe stopped lighting up within 24 hours of trying on and/or wear. After the first pair stopped working, we exchanged them for a second pair, which also stopped working after only one day. My daughter didn't even get to wear the first pair, she just tried them on at home before bed and when she woke up the following day, one shoe had stopped working. After exchanging the shoes for another pair, she wore them to preschool for one day, and at the end of the day, one shoe was no longer working (and no, she didn't stomp through water or anything like that). The shoes are super cute and my daughter was so happy to get them, but then she was incredibly disappointed to have them stop working not once, but twice! We are returning the second pair and looking for a different shoe now.

On the second pair that doesnt light up. Ho humUpdate:::: there is an off on button on the Velcro strap that turns the lights on and off. The shoes did not state this button and I found it looking through Youtube. Cute shoes and I cancelled my return.Ok. Another update. Figured out the lights. But this is the third week my daughter has been in school. The laces or ties on the shoe that looks like laces came apart/broke. And also some of the stitching in the toe area has come off. I think overall these are poor quality shoes. Don't buy them, not worth the stress.

Fast delivery. Fits just right. Very happy with the purchase. My Girls love them :) unfortunately after some use the shoes are not worth the price. not happy :(

We didn't have time to go back to school shopping this year, so we bought everything online. We just quickly picked a pair of sketchers, knowing how they always fit and perform. When these shoes came in the mail, they were so much cuter in person than just looking on the screen. They are very sparkly, and they light up....a lot!! My daughter absolutely loved these! The only reason, I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the Velcro. She is in the 4th grade and an average size 3, which most kids that age are wearing laces in their shoes. One girl made fun of her, but then she noticed other kids her age do wear them also, so she started wearing them to school again. Thank goodness!

The shoes are nice, but they were dirty inside. It looks like someone with dirty feet wore them around inside. The box was trashed. Not sure what was going on with these shoes. At least she likes the shoes, but I had to clean them. Yuck!

Ordering, delivery and receiving the shoes were great and efficient as always with Amazon. As soon as we opened the box only one of the shoes would light up. After calming down my crying daughter to explain to her why we have to return the shoes to get some that work, I arranged for an exchange for a non-defective pair. Again, Amazon return process was seamless and we had a new pair 72 hours later. Opened the box and NEITHER of the shoes lit up. Then with a little wearing one lit up. Then they swapped and the other started working while this one stopped. Then some both started working some of the time. Clearly a defective product all around since this was the second pair, but my daughter loved the look of them so much and wanted to keep them so badly that I could not bare to return them AGAIN. Buyer beware to check and see if the lights work as soon as you get them. Great looking and great fitting shoe, but maybe Skechers should hire better electricians!!

So far these are holding up great. My kids usually go through two pairs of tennis shoes each school year. Often times I'm replacing them more from damage than for sizing reasons (since I always leave room to grow when I buy), but these are hanging in there.

My granddaughter likes these shoes a lot. They sparkle brightly and fit well. She wears them at least twice a week to daycare and the park. She plays hard in them and they're pretty sturdy. After 1 month the outside for area is shredding which I guess should be expected but it does make them look a bit unsightly. But all in all a good shoe for a 4 year old.

Der Schuh gefällt mir und vor Allem auch meiner 6-jährigen Enkelin sehr gut. Auch das Blinkern beim Auftreten und das Glitzern des Schuhs sind sehr schön!

Sehr enttäuschend, die Schuhe waren schon bei der Lieferung defekt. Es ist ein Auslaufmodel und ich würde es nicht mehr kaufen.

Sehr schöne Schuhe. Für den Preis sollte die Blinkfunktion aber einwandfrei funktionieren. Die rechte Seite unserer Schuhe blinkt nur ab und an mal. Preislich würde ich das nächste Mal in andere Schuhe investieren.

Extraordinary product. Truly awesome design with fancy colours. Light ups at bottom phase on and off. We thought the lights died around 6 weeks after purchasing , but they came back!
