It is smaller and lighter than expected but works very smoothly. I have a farm where I put a range in because our range is out of commission because of tornado damage. I bought this as an extra press for the farm so I could tweak my loads at the far. We have a bridge out that makes it twice as far to drive there. I used to come home and make more test loads and test another day. I decided to set things us so that I could tweak them on site saving on trips to the farm. I do think that it is designed very well. I have watched many reviews on YouTube prior to purchasing. I suggest that anyone wanting this press to do the same. I have a Dillon progressive press and a Lyman 8 single stage press at home I usually use but I would certainly use this as well if it were at the house.

Was cautious at first but bit the bullet for this vice the other coaxial. Now I am glad I did. Set-up was a breeze. Build seems to be heavy and very high quality. Everything operated very smoothly. resized and de-primed 223s and 308s. No problem, shell alignment was perfect every time, The cam -over worked as designed. Needed leverage to resize military brass was considerably less than my Rockchucker. The light and the universal shell holders are very nice features that have worked flawlessly so far. For those that have had problems with alignment, Read the directions on adjusting the ball detent that holds the lock ring in place. After I did that, perfect alignment with every pull. Only problem I had was that one of the lock rings came without the brass set screw-I can forgive that. One recommendation I have for improvement is a roller handle for this thing would be a nice upgrade if and when they become available.

Smooth press. The die blocks can be a little finicky as they free float. Great value.

Let me start with the warts first. The proprietary die holders have way too much float, primarily from back to front. They simply rest in a cutout and nothing retains them in place. This issue is exacerbated by the extremely stiff built-in shell holder. In order to get the shell holder to release the cartridge you have to bring the holder all the way down to the bottom rather hard. This causes the die holder to slide out of position from the vibration. So when the next cartridge is raised to resize, de-cap, etc., the die catches the lip of the cartridge and it will not enter the die's mouth. In another words, the die holder's float is excessive. I did a quick and dirty fix by wedging a small magnet between the die holder and the die holder opening to keep it from sliding forward. Although the die holder is aluminum, the magnet is strong enough to latch on the iron frame and keep everything in place. The shell holder is a two piece affair with 4 cut outs on each half to accommodate different size shells. Each half is pinched against the cartridge rim notch as it raised up towards the die. On the way down, the two halves are "split" apart by a vertical dagger pin. Some might call it a locator pin with a cone shaped head. In any case this is what is causing the jarring vibration that moves the die holder. Another issue for me anyway, is the fact that when setting up the dies you ca'tn see the bottom of the die (or feel it) in relation to the shell holder. Thus setting the proper depth is a little irritating. Unlike many other single stage presses, the press tends to isolate feeling any haptic feedback. It takes a little bit of time to get accustomed to it. My last wart is the primer catch (and disperse) tray. I don't know if its just my press, but when removing the tray it binds on one side and then suddenly came loose and spilled spent primers everywhere. What I found as the best way to remove the tray, is to raise the primer assembly/primer tray (pull about half way down on the handle) and come from behind the tray and wiggle it back and forth until it comes out. It goes back quite easily. The lips and little catches on the side of the tray are flimsy and I can see FA selling a lot of replacements.. One the good side, once every die set up and my float patch in place, this press is very fast and efficient. In about 18 minutes with 50 pieces of range brass, I de-capped/resized, case size checked every 5 rounds, changed out dies and expanded the necks and checked the neck expansion depth on every 5 rounds. I have a homemade tool for this depth check. For me (and I'm anal about reloading) that is fast. I was resizing 9mm round every round came out perfect. For those that are interested, I did lubricate the shell holder assembly as best I could without taking it apart. It helped a little, but not enough. I would have rated this press 3 1/2 stars but I can't and 3 was too low considering that it in spite of the warts it does work quite well.

This will only reload rifle rounds because the shell holder is built in. Can't speak for others problems but coupled with Redding Dies I operate mine right of the box flawlessly. I mounted mine to an inlinefabricators.com stand to use in the field. Light isn't needed but you could use it back at camp with a solar pack charger at night. Highly recommend.

Seemed like a well built unit until the screws that hold the shell holder plate pulled out after resizing 11 brass, they are only holding by a thread or 2, like wt# ?? use a longer screw next time, hello ?? there is plenty of room. Sent back for a replacement and will put in some longer screws myself, lets hope something else doesn't fail.

Tive problemas com o sistema de fixação dos estojos, que não travam os projeteis firmemente, problemas com 3 dies que ficaram com o projetil travado. E as presilhas de ajuste estão soltas.
