Works great! It is very easy to troubleshoot and install and it is a great price for a managed switch. I installed it in the ceiling in a hard to get spot so being able to troubleshoot on the ground is amazing! It is nice qulaity made out of metal can handle a beating.

We like Netgear equipment, and we bought this switch to add capacity since we added a couple of Cat 6 cables to our garage and lanai. The box is small, it works well, and we now have a couple of extra ports should we need them down the road.

I needed to connect more than one computer and a printer at home. For under $20, this is an amazing little switch. My 5G Internet connection speed tests at over 900Mbps. Adding this NetGear switch to the mix affected the speed minimally, if at all. Speed test still reports over 900Mbps. At those speeds, I cannot tell the difference of before to after. I do not need the management portion of this switch at this point, so cannot comment on that. It runs smooth and has had zero hiccups. For me and my humble NetGear, life is good.

The NETGEAR GS305E 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch works perfectly for my PS5, Apple TV, TV Ethernet, and extension modem. It distributes speed very well across all devices. Setup was truly plug-and-play, and the included charger is long enough for flexible placement. There’s also an app to control advanced features, though I haven’t needed it yet.
