Life safety is so important on the water. It’s difficult but necessary for little ones. I needed a life jacket for a 6 week old, 11 pound baby. Most lifejackets that are listed 0 to 20 or 0 to 30 pounds are way too big for an infant. While this looks huge on him, it actually fits, and you can tell by the picture of the back of my grandson that it is secure on him even though from the front it looks gigantic. The pictures are slightly deceiving, it didn’t look quite as big as the photos make it look. The support on the back of the head keeps the baby’s head afloat. This sweet baby boy did not fuss in this life vest, we were lucky. I think this vest will fit him for close to a year before we switch to a small vest style. Highly recommend for small babies. This is a true infant life jacket approved by the USCG. UPDATE: I definitely recommend this "style" for infants. I will keep updating on how long this style fits a baby. We live in Florida and use our boat year round. I am posting this late September 2025 and the baby is 6 weeks old. There are a few styles available which are similar to this one, but this one was the most affordable (gender neutral) and looked very similar to the $60 vests. I strongly recommend. 2nd update: 4.5 months old and fitting better:)

This fit my 1 month old granddaughter perfectly with room to grow.

My 3 month old LOVES this! He is able to be in the water and lay in a comfy position while staying afloat! The only downside is that the back strap seems to fill up with water. When we take my baby out of it we have to squeeze the water out of it to make sure it dries & I get worried that it might become to heavy if my baby spent more time in it!

Perfect fit for 8 month old baby with room to grow. Other brands seemed too big. This one fits perfectly, looks good, meets safety regulations.

fit my 9lb 9 oz 22in 2 month old very well we tested it in the pool and then used it at the lake on a boat

My granddaughter did not like this one as the head rest was too confining for her especially at this young age.
