Motorcraft PW423 New Water Pump Medium

OEM water pump for Ford Expedition. It fits properly and does it job with peace of mind that this works as designed and not a cheap knock off. It is heavy alloy metal and and withstand the pressure of high heat as intended to pump coolant.

I had read some reviews that really made me question what kind of pump I would be receiving so I want to put in my 2 cents. What you will get is a 100% New Ford Motorcraft water pump in an unopened OEM box with an OEM Label. I tried to post a picture of the entire box label but was not allowed. The pump looks great and has the Ford casting mark. It comes with an O-ring installed on the pump, a cardboard ring to protect the impeller and a rubber collar to protect the threads where the fan clutch mounts. The label on the box says made in Canada, I can tell you it is not remanufactured because if it was it has to clearly state that on the box. It is also not an old part. There is a 2023 date on the label of the box it is now 2024 so totally normal. There is some discoloration from assembly grease and some marks made with sharpies from normal manufacturing practices and quality checks, so nothing abnormal here. You will get a very nice high quality factory water pump that will most likely far outlast anything from a parts store. I highly recommend.

Ford quality. Perfect fit. The hardest part to remove was the fan clutch. I don't have the proper tool. So, I resorted to using a large pipe wrench and hit it with a hammer for about a dozen times.

Exactly what I needed and replaced my 2012 Ford Expedition water pump. Easy to install and took hardly any time at all. Replaced my belt at the same time. Thank you!

Looked great except it has a M30 hub. I looked all over the listing for the hub size with no luck. Need M36. Returned it

Installed in 2010 f150 xl with 4.6 engine. It fit perfectly. The gasket came pre-installed. So far the engine has run with the new pump without overheating or leaks. Hopefully it lasts another 155,000 miles. The diameter of the bit of the shaft you can see at the end looks slightly different, so the part may have been redesigned at some point, but so far it is doing it's job.

Ordered for our 2008 Ford E250 Quigley 4x4 5.4 V8. Have 150k miles on original motor and wanted to replace it before a major trip. Wanted genuine Ford part but dealer was way $$ and didn't want a Chinese one from auto parts store. Read reviews on here and a few complaints about their part in plain box and rust etc but took a chance. Ours arrived in the genuine Ford labeled box complete with thread protector on fan hub threads. It's definitely a genuine part and matches casting of the old pump. The price was really excellent too for a ford part.

This has gone into my "Project Truck' vehicle and wont be road bound until spring 2022. That being said, i did compare this new one versus the 'original' factory installed water pump it replaced which had no problems but i figured after almost 25 years of service with the original one it was time to install a NEW one for the build. It has all the FORD markings my original has with just a small minor cosmetic alteration to a particular section of the casting measuring about 1.5cm's . Fitment and function were flawless. I installed it and filled the block with coolant and i have had it running several times now to get the fluids moving along. ALL IS GOOD!!

Nada mejor que comprar original y todo a un excelente precio, me salió mucho más barato que ir a laredo, lamentablemente en México las partes originales suelen ser muy caras y se manejan en pocos lugares, encontrar aquí fue una grata sorpresa, el artículo se instaló sin el menor problema y funciona bien hasta ahora, pero considerando que es original no debería haber problemas
