It was amazing!!! The sound is very, very loud. It scared my cats lol. Fits the palm of your hand, it makes me feel safe. I got it for my brother, me, and my parents. Pretty nice, i could loop this on my pants or put it in my pockets for when I am out on a walk alone. So portability is good.

My husband purchased this COSIN SOUND ALARM product in SEPTEMBER 2019 for our personal use since we both travel a lot, locally and internationally. In fact, I have almost forgotten about this gadget until it worked its function today, this early morning of JULY 25, 2020, Saturday. You would think that it is just a tiny thing, but boy it was so loud and very powerful! It gave us the security we badly needed at the time we needed it most!BACKGROUND INFO:1. We were at home sleeping soundly when suddenly our motion sensor at our fire escape went on. The music alarm was loud it woke us up. So, we got out of bed. Checked our security camera from our iPads.2. Yes, there was an intruder downstairs. There was a car that pulled into our alley!3. At 2 AM, the heart San Francisco where we live was still very much asleep and quiet.4. In our security camera, it showed that a white car stopped right in front of our fire escape that leads to our veranda which leads inside our domicile.5. FYI, the fire escape ladder is fixed on the floor level. Very inviting to the bad elements. This is why it was imperative that we had the security system installed.6. The car was there, canvasing our place. Across us is an office building and the other buildings within the alley is residential. With all buildings’ security lights being on didn’t scare off this white car/intruder/s.7. As the time moved on, my husband and I were in tandem. We did our protocol.8. I grabbed my KOSIN Safe Sound Personal Alarm and pulled out the lock and bingo! The loud sound went off!9. I ran fast to the veranda and placed the KOSIN Safe Sound Personal Alarm out there. Then, watched the car downstairs…what would the intruder/s do?10. Suddenly, I saw the white car backing off as fast as the driver could! The KOSIN Safe Sound Personal Alarm sound was way so loud that they/he/she heard it quite well, despite of the fact that the car was closed and the windows as well. So this shows and proves on how powerful and loud this KOSIN Safe Sound Personal Alarm is!11. That did the trick!EPILOGUE:Who would think that such a tiny object could work its wonder?Honestly, I never thought that a day would come when this gadget would be so handy and useful to me and my husband. And that has proven me right today! I hope that I would have no use for it in the future. The Kosin Safe Sound Personal Alarm comes in a package of 6 with all different colors. The light came on at first touch and it does everything it is advertised to do. The alarm is loud and strong which is what is needed when in danger. To sound the alarm you have to grab the strap that it comes with and pull. It took some time to figure out how to sound it. Once it was on it took a minute for meto turn it off as I was a bit shocked at how loud it was. The strap makes me a bit hesitant as I am concerned it will sound at the wrong time if mistakenly pulled. I bought them for my daughters and with a warning about the strap they should work as needed.

I looked at a lot of alarms after seeing some offered on a Flash Sale (it never arrived and I got a refund) since it is such a good idea to help protect your loved ones AND it's Christmas! This is one of those things you wouldn't think to buy yourself but when I started thinking of all the people I know who could use these - don't most think they'll be fine and nothing will ever happen? This is a key chain, a flash light and an alarm. 3 in 1!This won me over because it came in a pack of 6 and it was 140 Decibel where others were usually 130. I LOVE this.The light is so bright! See pics. It was still ighting the area up clearly at 15 feet away from what I pointed it at but I just moved and didn't want you to see all the mess and boxes in my place taking a pic of the light from across the room :) A small button makes it light and it fits perfectly in your hand.The strap is supposed to go around your wrist which it does nicely or I've seen people loop it over their purse strap, pet leash, even a window or door. For the sake of Science I went outside and pulled the alarm. OMG I about dropped to my knees. LOUD doesn't describe it. This isn't "car alarm" loud which makes people sigh and ignore you - this calls attention. The alarm stops by simply reinserting the pin into the hole the strap is attached to. It doesn't come out easily, it needs a stout tug, meaning you won't be doing it accidentally fumbling for your keys or catching it on something.The key chain is large and can hold many keys or those little membership discount cards you're supposed to scan at pet stores or gas stations that you always forget about until you get home.I would recommend this. It's worth the peace of mind.

I purchased eighteen of these for stocking stuffers. I also bought eyeglass repair kits so people could replace the batteries. The screw to the battery area was so tight on every alarm that I had to buy a special screwdriver to loosen them before I gave them as gifts. There is no information on the box or instructions regarding the battery size. I like the item and colors. Alarm is loud enough to do its job.
