Solid quality and perfect fit!
Arrived on time. From previous reviews it seems packaging was an issue but this arrived in a sturdy box with foam protection inside. Everything lined up great and install was easy with included hardware. Looks great, and appears durable. I have always used Curt hitches and been happy with their products.

Curt hitch receiver 13241 - Class III -
This review is for the Curt receiver 13241 application to my 2012 Nissan Frontier Crew-Cab Long-bed SL. I cut the box the receiver came in to lay flat so I could use it as a mat to lay on. This is my second Curt hitch receiver. The first was for a Mazda Tribute. As expected, this receiver is massive, accurately made, and finished well with a thick coat of black powder coat. This is a heavy item (for me) weighing in at 45 pounds. Still, it was easy to put on by myself, and I am 70+ years old. The bolt holes were accurately drilled, and the Nissan came with weld nuts already in place. The six bolts came with thick conical washers, which are designed to exert pressure on the bolts as they are tightened. All it took was lining up one bolt hole and start a bolt, then do one bolt on the other side. The rest is easy. Probably the hardest part, besides getting the first bolt on, was torquing the bolts to 65 foot-pounds. There was one bolt partially obstructed by the exhaust pipe, that required a knuckle joint on the socket wrench. That's all there was to installation. the only tools you will need are a 3/4" socket and driver (or 19mm), a 6" extension bar for the socket, a knuckle joint, and a torque wrench set to 65 foot-pounds. You could just use a 3/4" (19mm) box wrench. On the Nissan Frontier, the receiver was jut a little inside the rear-most edge of the rear bumper, with maybe less than 1/2" clearance below it. I set a 2" hitch into the receiver with no problem. However, a Texas "tailgate" hitch cover, which extends 3" beyond the hith cove shaft, would not fit because the rear edge of the bumper interfered (the receiver was recessed a little too much under the bumper.) All-in-all, the Curt hitch receiver more than met my expectations, and I would recommend it to my friends.

Works and fits well.
It fit great. I put it on by myself. Been towing with it for about a years. No issues or problems. Nothing negative to say.

Nobody's Perfect
The initially ordered unit was delivered within the stated timeline; however, the mounting slots on the receiver were slightly out of alignment with the threaded bolt holes in my 2025 Frontier's chassis. I simply executed the return/replacement policy through Amazon, dropped the boxed unit off at the UPS store and Amazon had another unit to me within 4 days of me filing the claim. New unit arrived within stated time and mounting slots lined up for a perfect installation. What more could you ask for. Sure, some folks fuss about the Quality Assurance of the company. but that's a global problem these days. As long as they make it right, which they did, I'm good!

Great Value for the Money
Well made, nice powder coat finish and heavy. I used this to replace a rusted out OEM hitch that was 10 years old. It seems like they improved the packaging because the large heavy duty box that it arrived in was undamaged as was the item. One problem was that the 6th bolt hole didn't line up so I needed to use a large C clamp (see photo) to bend the flange into position which wasn't very difficult since the bolt slots are rather large. Specific dislike is that this does not have a mounting flange for the electrical hookup like the my prior OEM hitch had. Given the large number of these types of hitches on the market I would choose this one again over all others except the OEM version which was unavailable.

Fit my 2015 Frontier Well
Great product. I was able to install it easy enough. The box arrived undamaged and had two convenient side carrying cut outs/holes which were handy as it was heavy. As I planned on installing it by myself, I cut a hole in the box end only large enough to slide out the hitch and then laid the hitch on top of the box and slid it under the truck. From there I transferred it to two jack stands. Curt wrapped the tube with heavy duty paper stock so the jack stands did not leave any scratches. Previously I had cleaned each bolt hole and had threaded a bolt all the way in to make it easier when the hitch was installed. The truck is only 9 months old so they really were not all that dirty. I had trouble getting the last bolt hole (passenger side most forward to line up). To fix it I simply took all the other ones off and started with this one. It is actually the hardest to reach as the tail pipe is almost underneath it. By starting with this one the remaining five went in easy. I was 30 minutes on the whole process.

Not pretty but serves it's function for a reasonable price
Installation was ok, fit wasn't perfect but I did get all the bolts in without having to elongate the last slot. All hardware included. Negatives are the powder coating is terrible and will peel and flake over time. Sharp edges on the sheared plate means the powder coating doesn't coat well, there's almost none on the edges so this is where it will rust first. Must have been robot welded, lots of spatter that was painted right over, will lead to rust in the future. Great quality welding otherwise, no worm holes or other glaring flaws. Satisfied with the hitch for the price and would recommend.

Good quality piece, easy install
Fit well, fasteners came with it, no drilling required. The only issue I ran into was that the welded nuts in my truck were very rusty, and had to be tapped before install. The truck is a 2009, so to be expected. The tap is oddly sized, plan for this if your Frontier is old and rusty like mine.
