Love These Awesome LED Lights!
Great price, quick delivery, whatโs more the quality and performance of the LED light strips are awesome! The Product comes with: 1- [1] 360ยฐ RF remote controller 2- [1] 12V DC power supply 3- [3] Pre-cut (12 Inches each) 50/50 LED Strip lights 4- [3] extension wires (12 inches each) 5- [6] (4 PIN) male connectors to connect to the (4 PIN) female strips and the extension wires. 6- [6] Adhesive backed wire clips to help secure the extensions in place when turning the corners. Even if youโre not a tech savvy person, you will be able to install the LED lighting strips with very little effort. I installed my lights in less than 5 minutes. Just plug the male 4 PINS into the female 4 PINS lights and extensions, test before installing onto your TV or Monitor to ensure you have both arrows connected in the right directions and the lights turn on correctly. (If not, then check to ensure the connection is not reversed.) Then just remove the LED Light backing and affix to your TV, and plug in. The LED lights on the back of the TV creates a stylish aesthetic experience that both enhances the roomโs ambiance, but most important makes your eyes feel less stressed while watching TV. The 360ยฐ RF remote controller controls the lights, which is accessible from across the room. I was able to turn on the lights from my upstairs, about 50 feet away that beats any other RF remote Iโve had in the past. Also was able to enable the different lighting functions like; changing colors, sequence mode, speed of chasing patterns, dimming lights, using the various scenes, etcโฆwithout any interference or having to find an ideal location to make it work. The process is the same whether you are installing onto a TV, Monitor, under a Desk, or Table Lighting. HitLights customer service is very quick to respond if you have questions, and their follow through is exceptional. I would highly recommend this product. Overall Satisfied
I mounted these on the rear edge of my desk for some backglow against the wall. They can get decently bright, though I feel like the lowest brightness setting is still a bit bright and wish they could dim a little further. Not a huge deal. They've got a few modes to cycle through, like pulsing colors or spectrum cycling, though the speed on 'moving' colors is also still fast on lower settings so you won't get a slow color shift here. Otherwise, you can just keep it on a solid color. The 4 pin extensions to hook them together are definitely longer than shown in the picture and I did not think to double check the lengths in the actual description. It spans almost the entirety of my 65in desk on the back edge, though because it has larger gaps between the actual light strips, I have a couple of empty spots not being illuminated. If you have your own 4 pin connectors, you can probably replace them, but note that you may deal with this out of the box unless you position them a different way than I did. Beyond those things, I am good with it overall. It is pretty responsive to the remote, even tucked away behind my PC. The adhesive seems strong and they feel of higher quality than some cheaper kits you can buy on here.

Hitlights Strip: Fun! Practical!
These lights are so much fun and practical too! They light up my kitchen counter perfectly, and with the remote I can easily add drama for any occasion. The dimmer function is excellent too. No matter the color you choose, you can brighten or dim the setting to your liking. I thought it was pretty amazing to get these features for so little. I still do. Confession Time: I like them so much, but had to order another set today since I didn't install the first set properly. The place I need them is under cabinetry in my kitchen - a place very awkward to work in. (VERY AWKWARD!) I somehow, at first, managed to get them installed right - a miracle right there. But one of the 3 sections came loose and obviously wouldn't light up. Because the remaining 2 sections still lit up most of the counter, I didn't even try to fix it. It still looked great and provided plenty of light Nearly 5 months later, another section went out, and the last one followed. Ordinarily I'm very organized and can put my hands on manuals instantly, but that was not the case this time. Hooking them back up wasn't going to be as simple as I'd thought. (There's a right way and a wrong way to match up the connectors. Pretty sure hooking them up wrong would destroy the lights for good.) My first mistake must've been that I didn't prepare the surface to mount them on well enough. My second mistake, I think, was I didn't make certain the connections between each spacer and light strip were SNUG. My biggest mistake, however, was not mounting them onto a length of cardboard or something like that and then attaching the whole works under the cabinet. That way, they can be assembled AND tested BEFORE being attached to the permanent surface. I'm explaining all this because someone out there may find themselves in a similar situation. Believe me, I'd never confess all my errors here unless I thought someone might be helped! My humiliation will have been all worth it! Bottom line: This little lighting setup is awesome and if you take just a little extra time doing it right, you'll be very pleased! 100% recommend.

Really nice lights and easy to work with.
DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS MOD WITHOUT ANY SOLDERING SKILLS AND SOME ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT KNOWLEDGE. I've been installing LEDs in guitar amp heads for many years and have watched the improvement in designs making these mods so much easier. Most of the LEDs kits are the same, but I really like these Hitlights. Nice and bright with the standard remote included for changing colors, patterns, and speeds. I like how the strips are a bit flexible and really like the adhesion option. Just peal off the back of a strip - I was able to install 2 strips inside the amp head and they seem to be holding excellently. I hardwired the LEDs 12 volt power supply to the AC leads inside the amp head that feed the amp's power switch. This enable the LEDs to come on when the amp's power switch is turned on. Again, please don't attempt unless you know what you're doing. I've seen some amp heads where they ran the 12 volt adapter outside the head and plugged it in separately into a power source just like the amp. This results in 2 AC cords coming from the amp which is OK and much safer, but a little inconvenient if you don't know how to connect to the amps power switching. The rest of the LED wiring rests inside the amp head where there's usually plenty of space. I only do solid state amp heads because of the available space. Fifteen years ago, I was one of the few techs doing this LED mod, now, with tube amp heads, the manufacturers often design a LED element to illuminate the inside of the head showing the powers tubes and such. LEDs make this possible because they don't get hot and run on very little voltage. You'll notice in the pictures, that I Velcro the remote onto the back of the head. Can't lose it - it's the only way to control the lighting. Rock On!

No color mixing, but otherwise decent
These are bright and the colors are pretty OK. Biggest complaint? No custom color mixing and no warm white option. Yellow substitutes ok, but the ability to color mix more precisely would be MUCH more preferred to having preset colors. If the remote could be reworked to allow custom color mixing (even at the expense of having tuned color presets), I'd prefer that. I'll use these for cabinet lighting as I did want colors in my cabinets (glass doors, season-matching colors). I also used these on my 55" TV and they work great for the price. What bums my wife out is the absence of warm white and the blue bias of the "white" preset, which is pretty blue and not super white. I also use these on my computer monitor as videoconference face lighting. Helps to combat the backlighting of the room lights for my telework. Still, no warm white here, so it can look very unnatural using the white setting on the remote. PLEASE ADD CUSTOM COLOR MIXING.

Great little light, multiple options for color and brightness.
Bought for the inside of my closet since the doors have a frosted glass. I actually only used one of the three sections and placed that on top of the inside door trim. It's plenty bright just using the one! (Now I have 2 spares if the one goes out). I love that the brightness is adjustable as I just want a soft glow being it's on as a night light of sorts. Having color choices is great too as I liked the red but my girlfriend didn't so we can switch to blue or green etc.
