Very good container . Storage capacity as mentioned . Only concerned about the lid joint where it closes since previous lock and lock containers snapped there .

The build quality is excellent and I opted for this model because it has a top lid which can be used to quickly open and take out content without opening all four side locks but I observed that the top lid fits properly and is airtight now. With use and over time it could be that it will loosen out and might be less air tight. It may I am not sure. I hope it does not. coz the other 2 containers I bought with top lids ( 5ltr and 1.8ltr) their top lid is tight and perfect fit.I am happy with the purchase but next time I might opt for the ones without the top lid if I am buying a 1litre container.The container feels strong as compared to other models of Lock and Lock containers. Looking forward to buy more. I already got 8 today.

In the local boxes, the locking is hard, but in these boxes, locking is very soft.

I purchased this container for keeping 1 kg of sugar and it does the job perfectly. This small container can hold a full kilo of sugar and keep it fresh for a long time. This container is made in Korea and is very strong and durable as it uses very good quality plastics. The lid is fully airtight and has a flip top lid for easy pouring of contents. Overall, I am very happy with this container as it fulfil my needs perfectly!!

These containers have been great for keeping everything organized in my pantry. I've been using them for years and needed some more. So glad they are still making them. They keep things fresh and they stack perfectly!

The 1.7 HPL813S4 version is ideal for storing my 1.5 kg bags of bread flour and sugar in airtight conditions. Just drop the paper bag into the container, then raise it up about 6 inches before letting it drop back onto the worktop. That drop uses the weight of the flour to push the bag all the way down. Your lid will now close and seal without difficulty. I've actually bought 8 of these so far. They all arrived within 3-4 days, which is pretty impressive for an import from Germany. Absolutely top quality, but do be sure to thoroughly wash with hot water before use, as you'll see a lot of foamy water coming out. This must be 'release agent' (a kind of washing-up liquid) from the manufacturing process. They're an absolute kitchen essential.
