HP HP48GX RPN Expandable Graphic Calculator

Have been looking for a 48GX for awhile, and stumbled upon this gem. Let me tell you I might as well consider this one NEW, especially for a 30 year old calculator. No wear, no tear, original box and all the supplement brochures that come with it, like a time warp. Will purchase from this seller again.

The calculator came by itself. Nothing was with it and sure was not in factory sealed package. Very disappointed. Looks like it is used. MIne came with an Electric Engineering Application Pac, can I exchange for a Mech engineering Pac?

I bought my first 48sx in 1990. I used it constantly through engineering school for five years. I continued to use it throughout three different jobs over 15 years. Have dropped it many many many times. One time I dropped it in the snow. I did not find it for a week until the snow melted. Only after 20 years of constant use did the buttons start to not function properly. That is when I ordered a new one. I didn't really want the new model. It still works the same.

Good calculator but hasn't worked well with two different expandable memory cards tried.

2024-07-24 ... YES, this is the BEST Calculator in the world ... This is the third that I've purchased "Used" ... TERRIBLE QUALITY ... The display is almost completely useless ... The "Seller" should be ASHAMED of selling this ... THERE's MORE BAD NEWS ... The Seller presents a beautiful photo of the HP-48GX and ALL of it's accessories ... NONE were delivered with the calculator ...

Quite simply the best calculator you can buy. Once you wrap your puny brain around the RPN way of doing math, you will never want another calculator again. The only minor complaint is that some of the built in functions can be slower than I would like.

Disappointing. The screen is difficult to read. The pixels are blue and some are unreadable. Also , it's slow. As a surveyor , I've owned several 48GX's and because they're difficult to find ...I keep it. I should have returned it.
