This is perfect, I work from home and my company wanted to switch from phone to VOIP I am able to use the same phone headset without switching to a USB headset. This quick disconnect turned my phone headset into USB.

I plugged this into my computer and after a few minutes of automatic driver downloads, it worked perfectly with my Plantronic headset. Really easy to switch my headset back & forth between my computer and office phone. The only issue is that the mute & volume buttons don't work. That could just be related to my computer (Windows 7). I can mute and control volume through my meeting programs & computer, so not a big deal. But I highly recommend testing it out before relying on it for a live call. Aside from that though, great product!

I have been using plantronics headsets since the 70's and they are incredibly comfortable and transmit voice and sound beautifully. This particular headset had a quick connect connection for use in a phone center. When we had to start having all our meetings on the internet, I remembered my old headset and needed the quick connect adapter to USB so I could connect to my computers for the meetings. This has really been heaven sent during Covid.

Works for adapting your rj11 enabled bi or mono nural headset to your computer based softphone. Has a handy in-cord volume up, down, mute and on-off, which comes in handy if you have something running in the background while using your bulk-caller.

Great product, I have a ton of Plantronics headsets and this adapter allowed me to use them as VoIP headsets through my USB adapter. I am very pleased with the purchase.

this item stopped working last week and now am being told by Amazon that the return window expired and it's beyond the 30 day return period therefore they will charge me a restocking fee to return this item. but this is an item that cannot be restocked because it is DEFECTIVE. how do you restock an item that doesn't work? called the company phone number but no answer, only voicemail. waiting to see if Amazon will resolve this for me. EDIT: money was refund. bought another cable and hope this one works longer than 35 days.

Sadly, this QD Cable does not work 100% with my Plantronics Encore Pro HW540 headset. The speaker and volume work fine but the microphone does not fully pick up the sound (about 95% muted). I have to yell to get it to register on the voice recorder. I tried on all three of my computers with the same results. I called Plantronics and they had me install their Poly Lens software to detect the device and it will not register. Plug and Play just has it as a U17 headset. Plantronics says I need a DA80 Quick Disconnect cable. at around $80 more dollars.
