Hurricane Supreme 90-Degree Oscillating Wall Fan, 3 Speeds, White, 18in

Great fans, reasonably priced , easy to install, & have 3 speeds. Perfect for our lani next to the pool in Florida.

I looked a long time to find the perfect wall mounted garage fan. This Hurricane 18in fan is a good one. I'm very OCD so I did a lot of planning and I wired a new outlet for it. It moves a lot of air, very quiet and well made. I also wanted to be able to quickly take the fan cage off and be able to remove the blade for cleaning. This fan is perfect for that, three clips move up to remove the front cage then a large nut spins off to pop off the composite plastic blade. Even the fan nut is a backwards thread so it is always tightening as it's running. Very well thought out!!!! *******UPDATE ******** I noticed the rear fan cage was missing one of the 5 clamps, I didn't notice it when I was installing the fan. (not a big deal) but I email the company through their web site. I communicated with Chris Elliot, in a few weeks I received a complete new fan cage!!! Wow,,,talk about above and beyond!!!! Needless to say I'm very impressed and if you reading my post wondering about purchasing this fan, you need to buy it, you'll be very happy with it.

Good product, I got the 16 inch first but it didn't move enough air. Traded it for the 18 inch and it works perfectly in the workshop without creating a dust storm. Really good, easy to mount.

This box was damaged by fedex , but luckily it still works. No visible damage. Easy to install. Impressive on the air output on the the 18" Supreme fan. I use it for my bedroom and the fan is actually more than some would like in there room ,but I like it so far. Whomever thought of having the plug coming out of the top of the fan needs to be fired honestly.. lmao......It's working excellent atm.

Powerful fan and easy install. The Hurricane I purchased was the 18" white fan. Initially I was going to return it (bigger than what I really needed), however, the seller reached out to me and offered an option. I'm really glad I kept it. I live in north central Florida in a small trailer and even in November and December I've found it still to be too warm inside to not have circulation going. Normally, I would just open the windows, unfortunately... original windows of this trailer that cannot be opened because of age. There are three setting options: low, medium and high. Personally, at night, I like to keep it on "medium". It also has strings (cords) to turn the wall-mounted fan on and off plus with the oscillation. This is a well built fan, except, in this department (strings) I believe they could have done so much better. I don't use the strings because I'm afraid they will snap right off. This one did not come with a remote control, it's okay... I'm from the day where you had to actually get up to change the channel. Some people have said it's super quiet - maybe they work in a factory or have a different type of fan, it's NOT quiet. In my opinion, it's not super loud either. I happen to like my fans to make a certain amount of noise, it's what helps me to sleep or relax (ya know, "white noise" so I don't have to hear my husband nag at me about how I've spent money I don't need to spend). Last thing, I have no idea how long this will last. As we all know, most corporations/manufacturers (CEO) are in the business to drain all of our money out of our bank account so they can grow fat and lazy off our hard earned money and they make sure that things we purchase today will not last very long. That being said, I'm hoping I will get at least a year or two out of this item. Would I buy it again at this point, sure would, works for the purpose I need it. Talk to me several months later and we'll see if it's still working.

Update 6/20/19. Quality of this brand is poor. Purchased 3 fans and 2 are not working. I've tried reaching out to the company but no response. Not surprised. I will not bother to waste my time with this. I should have passed on buying this item as other reviews were not impressive. Wasted money x 3 but will look into a better brand. I bought 3 and 2 broke in less than 8 months. I purchased 3 of these fans over the past month or so because live in Florida and have low 7 1/2' ceilings and can't install ceiling fans. Mainly I am using them for circulation and that's exactly what these fans have done. My home wouldn't cool down unless I set my air conditioner to 74 degrees or lower, and it never felt like the air was even circulating. I put one of the fans not far from the air condition vent. It has cooled my family room and kitchen easily and when the a/c kicks on we get chilly. The other fan is in the living room in a corner and it too has cooled the entire room and circulated the air. I am now able to set my a/c up to 76 and still be comfortable. The third fan was installed in my daughter's bedroom right under the a/c vent and it too cooled the room down and circulated the air. However, this morning it completely stopped working. So I am getting it replaced. I have read other reviews and I will report that the fan is quiet even on high. Settings allow you to chose if you want the fan to ossillate. Pull strings make it easy if you cannot reach the knob for the settings. The cord is approximately 4-5 feet long and I wished that this was a bit longer. I had to add an extension cord on the one in the family room. And for those of you who have pets, it might be a good idea to use cord covers so they won't chew on the cords. I did this on all the fans I purchased. Assembly is easy, no tools required to do so. I believe this fan also comes in smaller sizes. The mounting bracket is a simple one. Use a stud finder so you can be sure to hit a beam to mount the bracket. If the studs are too far apart, or there are problems, just buy a long enough 1 x 4 piece of wood and mount that to the studs, then mount the bracket to the wood. It's worth the extra work because I feel these fans have greatly made a difference in my home. If you decide to order this fan, look on your screen that asks if you want it shipped in an Amazon Box. This will require you to check a little square box to do so. The fan is packed well, but original packaging is not sturdy. My first order came this way and there was a hole in the box. The other 2 were shipped in an Amazon Box and it arrived in tact. Overall, I am just loving these fans and I hope that I can reduce my electric bill greatly. The air is circulating and I'm thrilled that it's finally cooler in all the rooms.

I really like this fan! It’s easy to hang on the wall and puts out a good amount of air. I have A/C window units which sometimes need a little help with circulation and this fan does a really good job. I’m thinking about buying more for other rooms.

Moves a lot of air. Worth it.

5 minutes from opening the box to mounting on the wall quiet, easy to assemble and lots of air movement

Lots of power, I only use the lowest speed as I have it in my living room to move heat from the wood stove, slightly noisy because of the size, I’ll buy a smaller one for the living room and put this one in a back area

Nice fan, life span not determined as of yet.

Works great quiet and smooth. So far, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a strong reliable fan.
