I buy this excellent tea locally, but my store didn't have a stock this time. Teekanne sells "Fennel" for export, and the tea bags inside the box are thick and preserve quality very well. I saw it on Amazon, and noticed that they were selling both the "Fennel" for export and the "FencheL" with crappy paper tea bags. I saw that there were these two options on Amazon and made a point of choosing "Fennel", as you can see very well above, (and three boxes to boot! I didn't want to get stuck with tea that looses flavor over time. I was sent the "Fenchel" instead. This is really unprofessional and dishonest. Seller should stick to true label markings..

I love this tea. It reminds me of my childhood. It‘s a little bit pricey here though. It tastes just like it does in Germany.

Taste good

Our box arrived squished - as it was shipped in a padded envelope. The tea itself was undamaged, though, thankfully. This is the same product we purchased when we lived in Germany. It was widely used in hospitals in the Obstetrics clinic before and after women give birth. They want it to pass on to the baby while nursing to prevent and alleviate colic. As well, Germans use fennel tea for their "Baby Tea" - which is simply AMAZING if you have an infant with colic. Cannot recommend enough! Purchased to help a family member who is suffering from stomach issues --- and he reports that he actually felt much better after drinking some. He was surprised. Highly recommend.

I enjoy tea, but I am in no way a connoisseur of tea. That being said, I really enjoy this tea. It is soothing and relaxing.
