Best commercial vacuum
I've had this vacuum for over a year and it still works great. I clean air bnb units and this vacuum makes it so much easier. Great suction and attachments . Definitely worth the money.

I'm very pleased. Surprisingly better than expected.
I work in a place where we have tons of material on carts everywhere, 36 work stations, thread and material everywhere. At the end of the week, it's fuzz for days everywhere. We use a lot of compressed air to blow the debris on the floor out from under workstations and material handling carts, but there's so much back and forth blowing and sweeping the same fuzz from place to place. This is great for our purposes as we can have a "blower" and a "sucker" working together to minimize the back and forth and dealing with the same fuzz that often just gets moved around the shop. It is really easy to navigate through our maze of stuff to get places that we couldn't practically get to before. You still have to think about the cord a bit, but it's SO much easier than trying to drag a shop vac around our crowded floor space. I find it to be very light weight for it's effectiveness, and it's comfortable enough to wear that I don't even think about it while I'm vacuuming. In fact, it's so effective that I'm amazed and having fun with it. I'm sure that will wear off as soon as it becomes more routine. When it arrived over the weekend, I couldn't wait for Monday to give it a whirl. What has two thumbs and gets excited to clean? Yes, THIS GUY! LOL. So, I gave it a go at my house on Sunday afternoon. I was able to do the ceiling corners for cobwebs, baseboards, blinds, window sills, kitchen cabinets, bathrooms and the like with amazing ease. Let's just say I'll be borrowing this from work occasionally. I was able to do the entire downstairs from one central outlet, and all of upstairs the same way in our 1,900 sq ft home in about an hour and a half. Mind you, It would go quicker if our home was cleaner to start with, and now that it's this easy, I won't stand to see cobwebs in the corners of the rooms as soon as I spot them. I do wish I had a better floor attachment for larger balls of fuzz for the shop, but I do have a unique situation, and I will find something that works. For my house, I was able to do it all without having to clear the filter. For work, I empty it out about three times before I'm done. Very pleased. I hope it keeps working like it does. It seems very sturdy and well made, but I just got it. I'll update my review if I have any problems.

Excellent product
For me, this is definitely one of the best options. Since I work in cleaning, I find it very practical—it’s not too heavy, and best of all, it saves a lot of time compared to regular sweeping. It’s easy to clean—simply perfect! 👌 10/10

Great vacuum but know what you're getting!
First and foremost, this is a commercial vacuum designed for heavy duty cleanup in large facilities without a lot of obstacles in your way, not a typical household. That said, it's a great vacuum as long as you keep that in mind. I chose to get it for use in my home which again is not really a fair thing to criticize it over but if you are looking to do the same, this info should help you. The Good: Excellent suction power. Excellent for cleaning smooth flooring and low-pile carpet. Super-long reach for getting dust bunnies and cobwebs out of those high corners. The Less Good: Don't even think about it for pile carpet, just no. The paper 'bags' are a hassle but seem worth it for ease of cleanup. Some folks claim you can use the paper bags alone but the unit is clearly designed to have the paper bag sit on top of the mesh bag, the main reason being to maintain suction power. The attachments are actually pretty decent but the usability for a typical home is pretty terrible. The main thing is the aluminum tube comes in 2 sections but for almost no purpose other than I suppose ease of shipping. You can't use half the tube with attachments, period. You can attach them to the full length of the connected tubes (awkward) or directly to the unfortunately short flexible black hose, there is no middle ground. So for getting into those really tight nooks to nab the big dust collections you'll just have to dismount the unit and do your best. So again, not a 'home vac' but if you want to use it that way like me, know what you're getting.

Seriously, an awesome vacuum!
(Disclaimer: I really like vacuums. I don't really know why, and no I don't have a weird or inappropriate obsession, I just find vacuums fun). Holy guacamole! This vacuum is AWESOME. I bought this vacuum to use as part of a small cleaning operation I have going on the weekends. It has satisfied my expectations and then some. PROS: -This vacuum is powerful. I spent a good amount of time talking with one of the custodians at work about the pros and cons of different backpack vacuums. I landed on this one for its performance/price. This is not one of the high-priced commercial backpack vacuums but I feel confident that I am getting the same (if not better, in some instances) power and effectiveness out of this vacuum for ~60% of the price. -The vacuum is versatile. The many attachments, the length of the extensions, the way the head swivels, all combine to provide an incredibly easy and thorough vacuuming experience. It is just as easy to vacuum ceilings and vents as it is to vacuum hard floors. One of my favorite applications is as a duster. This vacuum makes dusting certain areas incredibly easy (and I hate dusting). It obviously does not work well for dusting shelves full of objects, but the following areas are great examples: blinds and the part that holds the blinds (don't know what it's called haha), molding, vents, certain light fixtures, under and above cabinets, on and around washer/dryer, etc. -This vacuum has changed my opinion about vacuuming stairs. Vacuuming stairs used to be a tedious, difficult, and frankly annoying job. This vacuum has taken what used to be a 10-20 minute job (depending on the staircase) and turned it into a 2 minute job. -The vacuum design is actually a rather simple one, and as such cleaning it and keeping it clean are very easy. There are no difficult nooks or crannies to work with, and most parts seemed designed to last a long time. -When worn properly, this vacuum is comfortable. CONS: -The vacuum takes some getting used to. Trying to get the vacuum on and comfortable takes time. I figure it's a matter of trial and error. For someone not familiar with using backpack vacuums, it can definitely take some time to learn to navigate smaller areas differently. After a few minutes, especially if you're wearing the vacuum correctly, you can forget that there is a relatively large object attached to your back. I have bumped into a few things this way (not a major deal, just something to think bout). -This vacuum is not designed to clean carpets, and that is obvious. It is awesome at cleaning super-low pile carpets (like those in schools and offices), but anything above that is out of the question. Carpeted applications really require a beater brush and something with wheels, which this vacuum obviously does not have. -This vacuum is NOT a wet vacuum. It is absolutely not designed to pick up liquids and they should definitely be avoided. (As a tip: the custodian I have become friends with has mentioned that pouring baking soda on liquids and then vacuuming up the baking soda works extremely well and helps to navigate around this issue). Overall, the vacuum is amazing for doing what it's intended to do! If you're looking for something to make vacuuming hard floors even easier (whether it's a commercial application or even a household application) then this is the vacuum for you. The fact that it is designed for commercial use means you can feel comfortable using it "outside" on porches, decks, garages, etc.

Cord is only a foot long; can't be used with extension cords 🙃
Probably a fine vacuum; while setting mine up and reading the manual, it explicitly says not to use it with an extension cord, yet comes with an extension cord and directs you to use an extension cord, just 2 pages after explicitly telling you to never use it with an extension cord. That seems like a liability to me, but I guess I can use that extension cord for something else in my house. Since you can't use one with this, the actual cord is only about a foot long. I can't vacuum much if I have to be within 1 foot of an outlet, so I'm knocking 3 stars off for that. It vacuums great within 1 foot of each outlet, as the hose and extensions help quite a bit, but it's very difficult to finagle around to actually get all the areas, since you basically have to sit on the floor to have it plugged in, so I'm knocking another star off for that. I would knock another star off if I could, since there's no way to email or chat with their customer support about this; their website doesn't even acknowledge that this model exists in the help section, so... I guess we're on our own and buyer beware! (I know, I know; this should be a minor thing, but seriously? How can you expect users to read the manual when your copy writers don't even read it? And why have no way to communicate electronically with someone about it? It's 2025.)

Best Ever. C2401-010 (the 010 is VERY important!)
If you have largely hard wood floors with the occasional area rug, just buy it. Don't think about it. Just buy it. I run a cleaning business in Oregon where absolutely everyone has hardwood floors and area rugs. This thing is a breeze and makes short work of large areas. I use to have some complaints about it, but have gotten over them by making a few changes in the way I use it. Once you are nice to your vacuum, it will be nice to you. Here is a list of why this is the greatest vacuum you will ever own and why you will want to buy it for all your friends and family: 1) small and light weight. At Green Clean Queen (my cleaning business) we are all pretty petite women. As long as you aren't stupid, wear at least the waist strap (those with large busts find the chest strap just makes things uncomfortable, but it's not that necessary anyway), and stand up straight, it will not hurt your back. Really. "W.O.W." It's on the side of the vacuum 'Wear right. Operate right. Work right." It does have a tendency to undress you. So watch out for that. The waist strap likes to pull your shirt up and the back of the vacuum likes to push your pants down. Either deal with your crack showing a bit or wear a longer shirt and a belt, or vacuum when no one is there to watch you. Problem solved. 2) the metal wand. I accidentally bought the C2401 (NOT C2401-010) and was DEVASTATED that they were not the same thing. The metal wand on this version (C2401-010) is straight. We use this to our advantage in my company by sticking the mop in the vacuum wand so we only have to carry one thing instead of awkwardly carrying two. Over time the friction fit has let me down, but I have learned to deal with it. The floor attachment is permanently stuck to the metal wand. That's fine by me because then it never falls off. The connection point between the two sections of the wand has become super weak and doesn't like to stay together. Not to worry, a bit of velcro and some zip ties has created a quick release strap to hold the two pieces together. Now they stay together when you want them to (vacuuming and carrying it around with a mop inside) and they easily come apart when you want to use one of the smaller attachments for upholstery, blinds, anything that is just out of your reach. It's alright on cobwebs, but if you have even a moderate cobweb problem, vacuuming them will just kill your neck, back, and hand (it's not the right angle for comfortably reaching up... perfect for down though). I find it annoying that the attachments don't easily stick to the vacuum in anyway. Easily remedied with a plastic baggie and a binder clip... Put the attachments in the baggie and clip the bugger to the belt. Problem solved. 3) the floor attachment. I hate, hate, hate brush floor attachments. To me they are useless. They gather dust bunnies and move them around your house and they make it difficult to suck up larger things like marbles, spare change, legos, crayons, etc... The floor attachment on the C2401-010 is seriously the best option for about 75% of possible floor types. It makes a horrible irritating noise across slate and tile, but it really sucks (in the best way). It is fantastic for wood floors and laminate and maneuvers easily to get around under things without having to move heavy furniture. The trick is to get closer to the ground (so squat, but keep your back straight), twist the handle and wand so it is parallel to the floor. If you don't do this, the back wheels will be like a lever and pull the business end off the floor so it doesn't get it all. And because it doesn't have brushes on it, but instead parallel, collapsible squeegee-like stuff you can easily move from hardwoods, to under the edges of rugs, to the tops of area rugs. It does not have a beater bar so if there is a lot of weird stuff in the carpet you have to be the beater bar and quickly run it back and forth bringing the stuff to the top to be sucked up easily. It does get tiring after a while and does require both hands, but it is infinitely easier than hauling out the upright to do an 8x10 ft area. I also love the floor attachment because it actually picks stuff up. Not just dirt and dust bunnies, but quarters and crayons and kitty litter. It only pushes around large stuff that is just a little bit too tall for it. BUT! Those are also the things on the floor that are easy to see so you just have to lift and place the vacuum to suck it up. The only thing that is has a problem with are garment tags. They seem to be everywhere and I always hope that the vacuum will get it because I don't want to bend down to pick it up. They will ALWAYS get stuck until you can suck up something big enough to dislodge it or shove your finger up there to try to fish it out because the high pitched squeal is starting to annoy you. The wand occasionally clogs if you suck up enough long rigid things like toothpicks and qtips, but it's easy enough to take apart and fix. It does not do well with high-pile or shag carpet. If you house is mostly tall carpet, this probably isn't for you. Though it does make cleaning corners, edges, upholstery, blinds, curtains, etc into really easy work. 4) HEPA filter. Enough said. The last thing you want is to spew what you just vacuumed up back into the air to settle later. No bueno. 5) volume. It's actually pretty quiet. Maintain it, and it will not make that horrible loudness of a dying vacuum engine. 6) clear dome lid. You can see all the nastiness that you are picking up! It's gross yet satisfying. It really sucks to empty the cloth dust bag, but if you empty it into an empty, kitchen sized garbage bag OUTSIDE and DOWNWIND. You'll get use to it. Because I use this vacuum literally every single day I have to empty it a lot so I don't want to get paper bags because of cost and waste. It helps to beat the cloth bag against something like a fence or tree to get the dust out. Be mindful of the wind direction! 7) it comes with a ridiculously long cord that you can replace if necessary. When you get your vacuum, do yourself a favor and throw away that white rubber thing that holds the cord to the vacuum. Just cut it off and throw it away. Either tie a knot, or buy a $1 "S" connector at the hardware store. With the cord being so long you can get a lot done without having to unplug and replug in every room. You also have about 50' of heavy duty extension cord to get stuck under doors and around chairs and pulling itself away from the vacuum. That's annoying when it happens. So tie a knot, get use to either getting stuck and having to backtrack, or get really good at carrying the cord with you. (We work in teams so whoever is mopping after the vaccumer has to mind the cord.) Also, by throwing away the white attachment thingy you save yourself the hassle of trying to awkwardly recoil the cord so it doesn't get all knotted. We just unplug it from the vacuum, unplug it from the wall, and coil it around something (arm or plastic coily thing). It will work it's own knots out then. Also because we have to carry a vacuum, floor attachments and mop, and buckets of cleaning supplies to and from the car all day, we invested in reusable velcro ziptip-esque things. Then we coil the flexible hose around the back and velcro the bend handle and the cord all to the top handle on the vacuum. You can also hook bags of rags and the like over the hooks on the top if you wanted. 8) TWO YEAR COMMERCIAL WARRANTY! TWO YEARS! Every other commercial vacuum only has a 1 year warranty. Not that I've ever had any problems with mine and I've been using it pretty much daily for the last 7 months. I'm sure I could come up with more reasons why this is the greatest vacuum ever, but I feel I've written enough. I have shared my tips and tricks and feel I have made enough of a case as to why everyone in the world should buy this vacuum (NOT the C2401 or any other vacuum, but the C2401-010). I think I'm going to buy them in bulk to give as wedding presents.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Game Changer for Professional Cleaning!
We’ve been using the Hoover backpack vacuum for a few months now, and it’s an absolute game changer for our cleaning business! It’s lightweight, powerful, and surprisingly quiet—which is a huge plus when we're cleaning in homes with pets or kids. The suction is fantastic and easily tackles everything from fine dust to larger debris. The backpack design is comfortable and makes it so much easier to move around tight spaces or stairs without dragging a canister. Our team loves how much faster and more efficient it makes their jobs. Highly recommend for anyone serious about professional cleaning—this vacuum keeps up with our busiest days and never lets us down!

Dust and Dirt Be Gone.
Serious vacuuming power. Love the extra long power cord. Plug it in the center of the house and can reach 85% of the area. Especially love the backpack feature as it make vacuuming easy and way less tiresome, especially going up and down stairs. The attachments are great and can reach pretty much everywhere. Not too loud considering it's right on your back. Sure made spring cleaning easier.

Great vac
Just got this and tried it out on my office floors. We have mostly wood floors on 4 levels. Great suction and I really like the long arm. Backpack is very comfortable and not as heavy as expected. Nice long cord too.

Disappointed. Accessories won't attach, Poor suction
I am returning this item. I’m genuinely disappointed. I purchased it after reading many positive reviews here and on YouTube, so I had high expectations. I needed it for a post‑renovation job and it was my only vacuum, but the accessories would not stay attached, despite following the instructions I found on YouTube. It was embarrassing and extremely inconvenient. I had no other vacuum available, so I had to keep using it even though the attachments kept falling off while I worked... eventually I had to stop using it and had to drive back home to pick up my cheap runned down Bisell Vacuum that works better. On top of that, the suction is quite weak. I’m not sure if I received a defective unit, but overall this was a letdown.

Bustin’ makes me feel good!
I love this vacuum so far! I purchased it to use in our commercial space that often has a dog hanging out in it. The vacuum is great for pet hair, it’s so much more convenient to maneuver than a vacuum with a drag along part! It cut my vacuuming time in half. It’s nice and light, easy on your back and comfortable to carry. Also, I feel like a ghostbuster when I’m cleaning.
