Thomas Bro's Guide
The best street finder ever. The internet is so hit and miss and Thomas Bro's is right every time. And I mean every time. The best book for finding your way around.

picture on yer phone not always big enough? This will fix that
In the never ending battle between digital, and analog, I suggest a Thomas guide(book in the lap) for a better over view of my adopted home town. L.A.Sometimes the screen on my my phone just isn't big enough, and occasionally I have had GPS service, or phone service disappear, while on a quest in the labyrinth of downtown. So i pull over reach in the backseat haul over the Thomas guide, and see what I need to see where what is..no batteries or internet service required

It Does What Its Supposed To
I got this because I got lost going somewhere when my phone died on the way. I keep a magnifying glass and flashlight in my car in case I'm going to a residence because my eyes aren't quite as good as they used to be. If you know how to read a map this will get you anywhere you want in LA county.

Laugh all you want, having lived through events that take out cell towers
Everyone is so reliant on GPS, Google maps, and products like Waze but, all of those resources rely on a fragile infrastructure that is power dependent without calamity backup.Having an up to date, non-electronic resource handy cannot be beat. I'll have a Thomas Guide as long as they are printed.

Father's Day gift
My dad isn't very good at using his GPS. He had been talking about wanting a Thomas guide. This turned out to be the prefect gift for him.

Where are we? Look it up
Oh snap! My phone died! now what? Ask someone for directions? Not gonna happen. Nobody can give proper directions anymore. Flip open your guide and drive off in the sunset. Are you a professional driver? You know GPS has led you on some wild goose chases in the past. Use this guide for a second reference when google tries to send you down some posted streets. And avoid the huge fines local cops love to collect from the unfortunate trucker who blindly follows GPS into Beverly hills or Santa Monica.

Consistent with previous issues.
This is a typical Thomas Guide, well printed and presented. I bought it to replace an older issue
