Do you need to Sterilise first?

No I don’t think you can sterilise this just wash/rinse and wipe under water or use sterilising wipes to clean

Can this product be cooled in the fridge for more effective use, for my 3 month old?

Yes. We cleaned the giraffe with Milton and then placed it in a new freezer bag and left it in the fridge for about 30-45 minutes between use and my granddaughter fully appreciated the coolness on her gums. She still uses if now as she is growing her side teeth and the giraffes head and legs make it ideal for holding and rubbing gums even at the age of 14 months. Well worth it's money. Remember to put it in a clean bag inside the fridge to ensure no cross contamination with anything making it safer for repeated use in this way.

Does the giraffe with the ring make the squeaky sound as the big classical one? Thank you

The teething ring does not squeak like the original Sophie teething toy.
