Gauge is simple to use and gives a quick way to check your code requirements. I ordered this and got it in 2 days, however the unit I received was damaged. I contacted the mfr and had a replacement unit in 2 days. Worked great, did not give the answer I wanted... My builder installed a 50 PSI Pressure Relief Valve at the water meter. Checking at the house I found it was actually delivering 120psi!!! Called the water department and they confirmed they deliver 110-120 psi to the meter, and the builder is responsible for meter to the home. Contacted the builder and he sent out the plumber to actually adjust the PRV to the right pressure (seems it was installed but never adjusted).... So thanks to this very simple gauge my pipes wont be blown out!!

Received the product the same day, the product arrived in good condition. Put to test immediately after and it seems working as intended. I don’t plan to use it extensively, since I am experiencing water hammering, just wanted to measure the pressure. At least for now, I know it’s not the water pressure.

Experienced random surges in water pressure periodically from my faucets following major plumbing work from what turned out to be done by a lazy and incompetent failure of a plumber. This device saved me at the brink of catastrophe. The photograph says it all. So for any home owner, add this to your toolkit for the infrequent times you have a new water heater installed or a main water line replaced.

Our house had water leakage which came from a Hot Water Heater, that was over pressurized. Our plumber showed on his gauge to be around 150 psi. The old pressure regulator was no longer working, hence the high rate of pressure! Had new regulator installed and set to 55 psi. Now I check the water pressure myself so I know ahead of time if there is an issue with the water pressure. It is reassuring to just put this pressure gauge on the hot water heater drain valve to check. The last thing anyone wants is a leaking issue with a hot water heater because of too much water pressure! This gauge is so easy to use, just a minute and you know what the pressure is. So easy to screw on to the water outlet. "CARBO Instruments" is a quality company I trust! PS If checking your water pressure saves you a hot water heater or water damage, than it is so worth it!! For peace of Mind, I totally recommend it. PS As an ex pipe fitter, I can't think of being without this device.

Helped me diagnose water pressure issues. Not the best quality but will work for homeowner use just fine.

I'm a plumber of 20 years. The connector will not seal to a tap as the thread is not compatible with uk threads. I removed the tap connector (not easy as this is glued on to the guage thread. Why!?!?) and the 1/4 thread on the actual guage also doesn't match standard uk plumbing parts. This will not work in the UK. Do not buy!
