Keeps your face warm

I got this as a gift to my husband who is an avid hunter. He loved how comfortable and warm it was. He used it in Colorado and Wyoming during the winter & it helped tremendously!

I purchased this for hunting. This is very soft and comfortable. This can be used in several ways. Very happy with my purchase, finally something to keep my face warm on the coldest hunting days here in Ohio

I bought this thing for cold morning outings, and have used it a few times. I have some initial impressions. You can tell that it is well made with a nice feeling fleece. It is soft and definitely comfortable on the face, and it is very warm. The downside to this warmer is that it is pretty bulky. You can cinch the thing tighter around your head, but then you are left with two big cumbersome loops on both sides of your head which was slightly annoying. For some reason I imagined more of a balaclava fit, which is tight to the face and head. This is much different than I was imagining. If you don't like that snug feel around your head, you will probably enjoy wearing this.

I purchased this for my husband mostly for when he is outside snowplowing with our tractor or chopping wood but one could wear for many winter activities such as hunting, ice fishing, shoveling, sledding etc.. We live in a place where it can get very cold and windy (Central Wisconsin) and this has done a pretty good job protecting him from the elements. He is not one to fuss with putting extra stuff on and handles weather better than most but has used this numerous times already. I think it is of decent quality, quite thick and warm and somewhat adjustable with the side tabs. I felt like it might be a little difficult to see out of but so far for him, no problems. It is fairly large and therefore meant for a larger person or head, as it would be too large for me (I am an avg. sized woman). I was so impressed with it that I got one for my father in law as well because the price is right!

An absolute gem of a purchase for the money. Wore it duck & deer hunting, a game changer when it comes to cold weather. (Used in WI, 15-40 degrees).

Fits OK... Not as roomy as I was hoping. It does keep the wind and cold off of my head and face, though.

I used this hunting in about -20 with a pretty serious wind chill. If you live in Alberta you know what I'm talking about. The fleece is quite thick and I found it to be very warm. The product is good quality, and is easily thrown into the wash after. My only complaint is that I found my neck was a bit chilly, I would suggest wearing a dickie or some kind of coverage that covers your neck and part of your chest so that no air seeps in. Overall this was an awesome purchase.

I am very happy with this product. Pros: Fits very well, well made, elastic cords and clips to tighten (when it is cold, taking one's gloves off to tie strings sucks). Cons: The elastic cord is a bit thin and the clips a bit weak, so they may not last too long.

Very comfortable, and kept my head and face very warm! I was hesitant to try it, as fleece stuff can be crappy, but is well made and as versatile as they say! Had a hard time with glasses fogging up when trying to cover my nose, but there's little avoiding that. Was good in minor winds, but likely wouldn't keep heavier winds out.

This hood is very soft and warm. It has two adjustable features for the hood and face covering. It is a but large for me, so I have another small hood underneath for extra warmth while hunting. It is also long enough to tuck into your collar to keep the wind out.

I liked everything except the small size.
