"Excellent Support and Stability for Knee Recovery"
I recently experienced a serious knee dislocation, so I ordered this knee support, which arrived the next day. Since putting it on, I’ve noticed a tremendous improvement. Some reviews mention issues with the strap retention, but I haven’t encountered any problems. For the price, this knee brace is excellent quality. To get the most out of it, I suggest wearing a tight compression sleeve first, pulling it up over your knee, and overlapping or doubling it up for added support. Once the compression sleeve is in place, put the knee brace on top. This combination provides excellent stability and support. When adjusting the straps, don’t overthink it—this type of injury requires the brace to be as tight as possible without cutting off blood circulation. I’ve been securing the straps very tightly, and it has worked perfectly for me with no discomfort or circulation issues. The knee brace itself is fantastic and highly recommended if you’re feeling uneasy about your knee’s stability, worried about falling, or concerned that your kneecap might dislocate again. While it won’t completely prevent internal wobbling (which is unavoidable with this type of injury), it will keep your leg straight and provide firm support. Overall, it’s a great product that boosts confidence and security during recovery.

A better knee painkiller than paracetamol! But strap retention not good enough.
I have about six pairs of knee supports! Some are very supportive and comfortable especially for riding a bike, I also have some that have magnets in them that do ease the pain a bit. However, if like me you have almost constant knee pain then these are highly recommended and the best I have ever worn. For pain relief, they are better than taking a couple of paracetamols without the damage to your liver with long term use. I put them on tight being careful not to create a fold, and contrary to instructions I do the top first then bottom and the middle last. They are very comfortable; I wear them all day and hardly know I have them on. The neoprene keeps the joint warm, and for walking the springs seem to cushion the impact on the cartilage, walking poles also help. They also make the knee joint more rigid to help prevent the knee from bending so you must swing your leg a bit more. They are too stiff for cycling but that does not detract from what is an excellent product at a bargain price. UPDATE: The straps are held on to the support with the hook part of the hook and loop fastener. Unfortunately with time the support no longer retains the hooks and it will not hold together. This means either buying a new support or like me sewing the loop part of a hook and loop fastener onto the support, avoiding the reinforced strips. This is not good enough and therefore I have downgraded it to four stars.

It really helps
I’ve had a problem with my knee for a couple of weeks - a pain down the inside of the leg and a swollen feeling. But, it got worse following an unexpected long walk and I’ve spent a few days unable to sleep properly due to the pain. I ordered this brace due to the number of reviews saying it eased pain. To be honest, I didn’t expect too much relief but I was feeling quite desperate after 2 nights of no sleep at all Straight out the box and onto my leg and to be fair the pain is very much reduced. It’s not completely gone, but I’ve only worn it a short time and the improvement already is quite amazing I wondered if it would run my leg or feel uncomfortable to wear with the straps. It doesn’t rub, it stays in place, and whilst it felt strange wearing it or the first 15 mins, or so, I actually forgot I was wearing it after that..! I actually feel more confident standing up from sitting, and when walking downstairs now. Without the brace my knee felt weak and as if it was going to give way during movement. Brace is well made and feels to be high quality. The Velcro straps are strong and have excellent grip. Very pleased.

started off well
I have had this less than a month, it seems good at first and very supportive for my knee. But now the velco straps are not staying in place and keep coming undone. This issue makes the product pointless as no support when i need it.

Excellent
I bought this because I keep kneeling down and hurting my knee, I think I have torn something a few months ago and it keeps recurring when I kneel, or sometimes when I go up and down stairs. This strap is comfortable and very strong. The best thing about it is the 3 velcro straps are very sticky and stay in place all day. It prevents me from bending my knee all the way and kneeling down, and after a week it feels much better. It is easy to get on and off. I am medium build and have quite a slim lower body, and there is plenty of adjustment. If you have bigger legs then I think there will still be enough length in the straps to go all the way around and have room to still fasten at the velcro.

Sturdy and adjustable
So I tore muscles in my thigh just above my knee, long story, won’t bore you with it, and as a result my leg was ‘wobbly’ and so I needed a stick for a few days. Went on Amazon, like you do, and saw this. I needed something to stabilise my knee area to give me a bit of confidence. This has done the job. The first obvious thing is that it is very adjustable,as you would expect with a Velcro based item, but the straps are wide enough to hold. There is also a thinner strap that goes behind the knee which hold it in place so no riding up or down. The hole for the kneecap is well padded. It’s got me on my feet without a stick, and no wobbling. I do need to remember that I am still injured, but that’s not the straps job. It my job and with em being thick enough to get injured in the first place I’m not betting any money on that. Good knee brace if you don’t need the metal rods down the side.

Good for athritic knee
I am on my third of these, whilst awaiting a knee replacement. Compared to other supports I have tried, the metal hinges provide the extra support I need. I wear it all day for walking, cycling and light rowing machine exercise. It does not reduce the pain but provides a degree of comfort and confidence which I welcome. As others have commented, the velcro wears out after a while, but in my experience no quicker than on other models costing more. I will stick with this design for as long as I need to. For info of potential buyers, I am in my late 70's, 180cm, 93kg . GS

Fantastic Product
I bought this for my sister who suffers with arthritis in her right knee. We had tried other knee supports etc but wishing now I'd seen this first as its been a great aid for her. The neoprene fabric is so comfortable to wear and cleans easily. The support it offers is firm without nipping/pinching the skin and the straps tightly grip where needed and are just the right length without being too long and 'flopping about' like other brands purchased in the past. The fact that you can place the straps anywhere is a bonus and not something that is offered with most other brands. My sister actually ventures out more since having this support as the metal springs give her a level of support and comfort that she's not experienced before I am actually going to buy another one so she has one ready to go when this one is being washed

Comfortable and very effective
I love these. They are the best I’ve never worn. I wear on both knees. Comfortable and do a great job keeping my knees stable. I wrap the straps from the inside to the outside and that works well for me. I’m rehabilitating my gait after a hip replacement and these are making a real difference. Hope it is good for others too. Worth a try.
