Truck Bed Lights
I bought and installed these myself. I love these bed lights. They work well, they fit well and they just do exactly what they were designed to do. The wiring is wrapped in wire loom and it is very tough. The hardware included mated just fine with my hole in my bed. Even though I have a spray in bedliner, no problem at all. I have a 2017 Ram 2500 SLT, 6'4" bed. My truck didn't come with these bed lights, obviously, but what my truck did come with is the wiring to basically drop the wire that is directly connected to the light heads down inside the bed and plug them in. I didn't have to run the wiring from my fusebox or internal switch. That was a really big perk. What I did have to do though is modify the computer to enable these to work. When you unlock the truck these lights come on. When you turn on the rear cargo light with the button on your light panel these lights come on. But you have to have the feature enabled in the computer. You can very easily do this yourself using software call AlphaOBD and a bluetooth OBDII dongle.

OEM lights, no drilling, 2018 RAM 2500
Factory/OEM led light kit for cargo bed with โRAMโ engraved on each lens. Installed in 2018 RAM 2500 Laramie in just 10 minutes. No drilling required and both lights plugged directly into factory wiring harness under rear fender. The kit does include complete wiring harness for trim levels that do not have factory plugs. Lights work and look great and operate the same as high mount bed/cargo light. Note: lights work only after the cargo light option/code has been enabled by dealer (via software update). This took about 45 mins and my dealer charged $129 to do it.

Watch the hidden costs
This product adds factory bed lighting to my 2018 2500 ram tradesman. Easy to install since the factory cut outs and wiring were already in place. Installed in less than an hour and it only took this long because I was taking my time and enjoying the time to work on my own truck. The hidden cost was having to go to a dealer to have the option turned on in the truck computer so they worked with the installed factory wiring. I called 3 different dealers trying to find the best price, didn't matter apparently, I still had to pay for 1 hr of shop time so they could flash the computer. With that said it was still worth the.money to me. Now I can see in the truck bed at night under my tonneau.

Works great.
OEM quality is hard to beat. Rather than tie it into the fuse panel, which would have been very difficult to get at plus mine is a 2015 and I don't think it is programed for these lights, I tied it to the white/brown striped wire under my drivers door sill panel that leads to the bed light on the third brake lite. Ran the wires up between the driver side inner fender and cab and then through the rubber plug where the clutch master would mount if you had a standard transmission. you can punch the plug out, then drill the hole and run your wire through it and then put it back in. Beats trying to drill a hole under the dash or through the firewall and you can drill the hole a little small and it seals perfectly. Works great.

Easy to install if truck is pre-wired!
Installed these on a 2018 RAM 2500 with a spray-in bedliner. Truck was pre-wired so I only needed the lights but installation was done in about 20 min with just a ratchet to secure the lights in the bed with the included fasteners. These things are bright and come on when the cargo light is turned on or when I unlock the truck. Fortunately I have the software so I was able to enable the feature in the BCM without going to the dealer and paying a fortune.

Wrong part for the wrong truck
Ordered the sometime back just got my truck back from the shops with the customization work that I was having done went to fit these lights into my truck and these do not I repeat do not in any way shape or form fit a 2019 Dodge ram 1500 when I ordered it said it did but it does not But they will fit from 2013 up to 2018 At least that is what the Dodge dealer has told me.

If you need to run the long wire up to the battery and into the dash, beware that you will also need to remove the factory radio amplifier (if equipped) when trying to plug into the C1 terminal. This step is not shown in the instructions.

My 16' Ram had the plugs already ran under the back end of the truck. Simply plugged lights in and bolted them to the bed. Down side. You have to get the dealership to install a sales code (code LPL) and flash the computer to get the circuit open for the lights to work. First dealership I called was just under a hundred dollars to add sales code and flash the computer. Shop around dealerships charge different prices. Lights are bright and work well. There are other options on wiring the lights around the closed circuit. I wanted the truck wired to factory.
