A delightful addition to bathrooms or beach houses, Deep Sea Toile Wallpaper boasts an array of sea creatures and nautical elements, all sourced from the depths of Davy Jones' locker. Measuring approximately 20.5 inches wide by 33 feet long, it covers about 56.4 square feet per roll. Manufactured on SureStrip, a high-performance substrate, this ultra-easy removable wallpaper is a breeze to install and remove, requiring only water to activate. York Wallcoverings suggests visiting local authorized dealers, showrooms, or designers for expert assistance with color and design selection, technical information, installation tips, and more. Review: Easy to install and beautiful!! - This wallpaper is beautiful and extremely high quality. I have never put up wallpaper before and I was able to figure it out and the end result is beautiful. It’s easy to prepare and hang. Just wet the back, let the glue activate, and put it in place. It can slide around a bit to position the seams and smooth out the paper on the wall but once it the glue dries it’s properly stuck on there. The paper is strong. As I smoothed out air bubbles and creases with a plastic putty knife the paper never tore. Never! The seam is easy to align and all but disappears once the paper is all up on the wall. The paper is in our master bathroom and after showers and baths it’s still just as nice as the day we put it up. I love this wallpaper. Review: A papering tip that may help you align this pattern - This wallpaper is a delight. Overall it is a toile, but one made up of whimsical seafaring details. Everyone who sees my bathroom makeover remarks on how much they love the paper. However, I will issue a warning to all you lovely paper-hangers: I LOVE hanging wallpaper, but this one was a challenge. I have 9-foot ceilings and found that the paper tends to stretch as a result of its own weight when wet. Consequently, if you don't allow for this, you may end up with strips that match at the top but not at the bottom. The answer, I discovered as I went, is to use that tendency to stretch to advantage. When laying long strips, manually stretch the paper to make it match it's neighbor. Wet it down more if necessary. The paper can take it, and it's the only way to get a true alignment. Re the picture, this bathroom was likely added to my 1850 house around 1920. I have a golden retriever named Finnegan, and for the last five years I hung a sign on the door that said Finnegan's bathroom. It was barely fit for human use. The makeover tackled every detail. Sorry, Finny. It's mine now.

A papering tip that may help you align this pattern

Gorgeous & Easy
I have never wallpapered before. The only advice I had been given was, "Don't." Ha! This wallpaper is beautiful and was surprisingly easy to install. I would definitely recommend this wallpaper as well as any pre-pasted types. 2 people will make this much easier. Tools you will need: a long table, measuring tape, water bottle mister (use enough water to activate the glue), many razor blades (we went through 10, flipping the razor, so 20 edges for one ten foot wall with 2 doors & 2 outlets), a seam roller, sponges, clean rags, pencil, level or plumb line, step stool, TWO wallpaper smoothers, scissors, garbage bucket, a few lamps for proper lighting. I wore a headlamp and reading glasses because I like to be extra precise. Look up how to level or plumb your first piece. Do not rely on the door frames or windows to be straight. Also look up how to cut into corners. You'll want to move reasonably quickly as the longer the wallpaper soaks the glue the harder it is to cut (you get slight pulls, change direction of cut or razor blade immediately) We worked as a team. If in needed a rag I said rag and it was in my hand. "New razor!" New razor in hand. A lot more efficient than working alone. If you are working alone use an apron to have all tools close by with at least 2 razors ready to go. Change them often. They dull incredibly quickly. Once up the wallpaper will slide a touch so you can align it properly. Smooth from the top down. Have an extra smoother in case the first one gets glue on it. Keep water mister handy in case you need to pull paper back & spray a touch where it's not sticking properly. Clean tools with warm water between each piece so you're not getting glue on other pieces, like I did at first. It wipes off easily w a moist sponge but better to avoid it entirely. I will 100% recommend this pattern and this type of pre-pasted wallpaper. My walls underneath were a bit of a wreck but this busy print hides the defects very well. I was reluctant at first but now I know how easy it is I'll definitely be wallpapering much more. A++

Looks nice
Nice paper but slow to hang. Most important is sharp razor. Dulls blades ever so quick. Finished product is great

Easy papsr
This paper goes up easy, is easily pattern matched between stripes and holds well - even in a damp bathroom location.

Fun wall paper, looks great
We've used this wall paper in both blue and black as an accent wall. Matching carefully is important. And it is the most challenging part of putting it up. We were glad we used a professional installer when there were multiple "work arounds" and we wanted the pattern to be well-centered. Once installed, it catches everyone's eye and is universally appreciated. We have not used it in an area where it might get dirty, so we don't know how washable it is, but a simple wipe down during spring cleaning with a dry cloth seems to work just fine.

Added a lot of interest to a dark stairwell.
I am not a professional installer and yet I was able to quickly and easily install this wallpaper on our dark basement stairwell. It was extremely easy to install and everyone loves the way it looks.

Love it!
Great quality wallpaper. Very easy to lay and line up. I used a spray bottle to really dampen the back to get the adhesive really good and sticky. Definitely a nice way to add charm to any space. Highly recommend

Love the wallpaper but it was not pre-pasted
I’m not sure if I read the description wrong but the wallpaper we received was not the peel and stick kind, our installer needed to make a glue paste and apply to stick on the walls. (Yes I hired an installer, we had a few areas of wallpaper put up around the house) Nevertheless, the print came out beautifully and we couldn’t be happier with the final product.

Beautiful, unique and fun!
Beautiful! What a fun and unique wallpaper easy to install and looks great in our 1890’s lakeside house. Highly recommend if you are looking for something just a little different. Order was on time and fast. What more could you ask for!
