Maxpower Planet Dog Grooming Rake, Deshedding Undercoat Brush, Dogs & Cats

I was skeptical at first ,but my blue heeler sheds like crazy . I was tired of sweeping all the dog hair off the hardwood floors every other day. When it arrived, I used it the same day on her. I noticed a difference in her coat and all the dead loose hair it got out was crazy. I've used it several more times since then. You can definitely tell a huge difference in her coat and the amount I have to sweep up off the floors. Very great product. Only regret I have is I wished you bought it sooner.

The only regrets I have is not getting one of these rakes sooner. My poor husky must have been miserable with how much undercoat shed I removed from him. I brush him multiple times a week with a wicker brush and comb but apparently that wasn’t enough because I got a buy one get one husky deal going on and I only got half of his body because of how stubborn he is. After seeing what I got off of him I feel like a bad dog owner now. This brush is super easy to clean, great quality and sturdy and easily to hold size. Removed half of my husky on half of his body. The only thing I recommend is if you have a wooly coat type dog or long fur coat dog. Use a brush first to defangle so there’s no pulling and pain.

I’m very satisfied with this pet tool. My cat loves it too. He was always shedding hair. I couldn’t pet him without getting his hair all over me. I tried this tool on him and was thrilled that it took all his loose hair off. It also cut the under coat off and left his fur soft and smooth. Now I comb him every other day. He loves the grooming and purrs the whole time. I recommend this product for all people with thick furred pets.

This dog brush is my greatest single purchase of the decade. Maybe longer. I have a Turkish Kangal and a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix. The hair is unimaginable and that's with daily upkeep and closing off rooms to them. I was becoming desperate. Alas, I hit rock bottom when I found Pyrenees fluff in my oven. After a ton of research I decided on this item but figured it would just become another brush I was going to add to my collection of dog brushes that had let me, my family, my dogs, everybody, down. It removed their undercoats with just one brushing. It isn't sharp and doesn't hurt them nor my wrist. In fact, my pyrenees loves it. I show him the brush and he comes to me. The kangal allows me to brush her until she decides she's over it for a kangal has no master. I just brush faster with her. I can feel the undercoat being removed which oddly gives me a dopamine rush. I use this brush everyday now and it has made all the difference. Buy it. You will not regret it. It has changed my life!

I tried ot.first on my chocolate lab. It did great, but not nearly like the videos. Then I tried it on my nieces mutt. OH MY GOD! Within a minute I had a solid 1 foot wide solid hairball. It was so easy and he felt so much better! No whining or pulling away, just happy shedding. I was skeptical, but this brush is fantastic!

After more than 50 years of grooming dogs and trying just about every deshedding and dematting tool on the market, this is the one that has actually stood the test of time for me. Most of the others eventually fail in one way or another. The rubber handles get soft, shred apart, crack from garage heat, or the whole tool loosens up after real-world use. I still have some old ones wrapped in tape and patched together because they simply didn’t hold up. This Maxpower tool is different. Not only has it held up far better than the others, but it also flat-out works better. That’s the strange part. Looking at it, you’d think it was just another dematting rake like all the rest. But in actual use, it performs differently. It pulls through heavy coats better, removes loose undercoat faster, and handles mats that many other tools would turn into a miserable battle or force you to cut out completely. I use doodles, so matting is not a small issue around here. This tool has worked through mats I honestly thought were going to require scissors. Somehow it breaks them apart more effectively and with less struggle than the competition. The handle has also survived real use and abuse. If you groom regularly, especially larger dogs or heavy-coated breeds, you already know these tools get stressed hard over time. This one has taken it. Five stars without hesitation. This is one of the very few grooming tools I’ve bought over the years that I would immediately buy again if I lost it tomorrow. In fact, while writing this review, I bought another one even though my last two are still doing perfectly fine. I saw a new color on the product listing and decided I wanted it.

This grooming tool is a game changer. My cat HATES to be brushed. He tolerates this and the amount of fur it has taken from his undercoat is amazing. He looks better and I know he feels better too. It's easy to use and removes hair without discomfort. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing!!!!!! I have 5 cats. 3 of them get mats. This thing gets soooo much fur off of them!!! It is crazy. I tried working on a mat. It is kinda a big one, cat wasn’t having it. . I have a groomer that removes them but if I use this once the mats are removed I won’t need the groomer. Love this thing!!! Also I used it on my couch. Tons off fur came off and they liked it. I bought the Chom Chom roller on Amazon. Love that tooo! I can use the rake. Tons of fur on the couch. All gone. Cat life hack!

Best grooming tools

Impressed, saw videos and thought it was fake. Got the brush tried it the first time so much hair came off my dog. It doesn't hurt them she actually likes it works fantastic worth the money

I bought this to groom my long-haired cat. It's so effective: knots are removed without causing distress. I don't know how I managed before getting this! I would definitely recommend this tool.

Hatte noch nie eine Unterfell Bürste benutzt. War sehr erstaunt was da alles rausgekämmt werden kann. Hund hat es gut toleriert. Der kauft dieses Gerätes ist eine gute Entscheidung. Mit den zwei unterschiedlichen Kammseiten in unterschiedlichen Abständen der Zinken, für unterschiedlicher Felldichte geeignet. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
