Really a lovely little journal!
I completely adore this journal. I have never seen a journal with designs and water colored pages such as this. So as soon as I saw it I knew it was the one I didn't even know I had been looking for. I got it to make a sort of herb grimoire and I think it will do its job wonderfully. I haven't written in it yet, obviously, as I'm waiting for new pens I ordered, but I think the paper should hold up well. I suppose I'd say it's like printer paper thickness but a maybe a bit more.. smooth. I wouldn't recommend using makers or anything along that line as I think it will more than likely bleed/show through. I will find out how gel pens hold up tomorrow when they arrive, hopefully those wont bleed or show through. I have added photos of a few of my favorite pages that way you can see the variety between pages. Some are more colorful or have more detailed designs on them. There are maybe three or four I think with actual drawn images (which are still cute). And I only counted two pages that were absolutely blank. I also included a photo with the remote for size comparison purposes, it was the only thing in my vicinity that I thought would be most easily recognized for size. Overall I say this journal is absolutely worth the price for the attention to design if this is the sort of thing you like. I will absolutely get another one if/when I fill this one up. *Sorry for the long review, I tried to cover things I personally would've liked to see in reviews.

This journal is a joy!
I selected this journal for my "Joy Journey" (which is to say, I'm using this to write my reflections as I read and reflect on Kristina Stone Kaiser's book - Abundant Joy) and it has added soo much to my practice! I love the random splotches and sketches. I love the color palette and having 2 ribbon bookmarks. Best of all, I love the quality. Although I wish the cover wasn't labeled "summer," I'm buying another for my stash of journals and I hope they make more of this size.

Pretty fun writing
First so much prettier in person. Perfect b4 size. The pages are bright and beautiful. I am super happy to have given this to a friend who journals daily.

It has a cover photo
I laughed out loud when I opened the package. When I saw the product I was both amused and surprised to see the front cover had a piece of card stock paper (maybe 2” x 1”) on the cover that said “summer”. I was not expecting that. Pros: The pages are so colorful and beautiful. It’s unlike any other journal I’ve seen or owned. I loved all the different patterns on the pages. I also enjoyed that the pages were continuous of each other (meaning the left side and right side of the page seamlessly matched). If you’re OCD, it should give you a “relaxed” feeling lol. Cons: The size of the journal was also a tad smaller than I envisioned, but it will work well for what it was purchased for. And the random “summer” cover was a tad off-putting. I was able to easily peel it off... Overall, I would purchase again. I love the uniqueness of it.

My favorite blank notebook/journal with strong binding
About to buy my 2nd one! This journal has lasted me 2 years! The binding has held up extremely well, despite how much use and wear and tear it’s had. I personalized it with stickers. Small enough to throw in my purse, big enough to hold all my thoughts!

My art journal
This type of journal is unique. I had been looking for the art pages instead of the lined pages for writing. i make it into an art journal and the background looks nice for all my pages. I am so glad I found this journal.
