This is my go to (2x weekly) face mask/bentonite mud treatment. It's a pulsating, rejuvenating face mask that will blow your mind, and it's priced economically! A little of this product goes a long way! Don't order the off-brand names that are cheaper and claim to be something that they clearly are not! This is the original, purist, and most trustworthy Bentonite product on the market! It doesn't stink like swamp gas (like the cheaper off-brand one I tried)! If you want the best, buy the best — cause the rest don't stack up! I want to apologize to you, Aztec Secret, I knew the secret was you, it always has been. I strayed away and I'll never do it again. Mix a small amount of this Aztec "Gold" with Apple Cider Vinegar to form a paste — slather that stuff on your face about 1/4" thick and wait 5-15 minutes! As it dries on your skin you'll literally feel your face start to tighten up and then you start to feel your face tingle (ooh feels good already just thinking about it! The blood vessels on your face tend to like heat up like a flushing feeling —, blood is rushing to your capillaries for a unique feel! If you have sensitive skin test this somewhere inconspicuous on your body. I gotta tell you it brings blackheads and impurities that are sitting irght below the surface of your skin to the top. So, I never ever write amazon reviews BUT I read A TON of reviews on this BEFORE getting it and was a little discouraged. Many people said it made their skin worse and I got very frightened because I have been actively trying to heal some dark scars on my face and close up some pores. Essentially I want skin that looks healthy enough to not wear makeup. Anyways, as I said, I read a bunch of really good reviews and a bunch of really unhappy reviews and I was hesitant. I have tried white clay masks from Kiehls and that didn’t do much for my skin and I have tried charcoal peel off masks and that didn’t do much either. I have pores that are visible in between my eye brows, on my nose, and chin and I live in NYC so I am ALWAYS aware of the fact that my face gets dirty really fast with the nasty nasty pollution in the air. So, after a lot of deliberation I figured what the heck, I’ll buy it (because it’s a good price) do it PROPERLY and see what happens. The first night I did it, I focused mainly on my trouble spots to see if it would reduce the pores and I did not leave it on for longer than ten minutes (honestly it was probably like under ten), I mixed in a glass bowl with a plastic spoon and Braggs ACV ( absolutely no water). I washed it very gently afterwards (saw only a slight redness) and immediately used some vitamin e oil and very natural lotion to prevent dryness. ( I also MADE sure I had CLEAN hands when I lotioned up my face.) The next morning the spots on my skin were slightly lighter and my pores were not as visible. I have to admit I often stare at my face in the mirror with the horrible bright light on the maginified side and when I did that my pores looked smaller!! This wasn’t a HUGE difference but there was a change, and it made me happy. I’ve done it a couple more times (yes I know it’s supposed to be once a week), but I really like it. My skin between my eye brows was a little dry today, but a little lotion fixed that up. There has been no extended amounts of redness or breakouts and overall, I like the results. I definitely recommend this if you are willing, able and patient to test it and go slow. I did not use it on my entire face until the third time because I wanted to see how my problem areas reacted first. Because I didn’t have any problem with it, I moved on to a full face mask. This isn’t a mask that you can just peel on and off, and yes you do have to make sure that chunks of clay don’t go down your drain because it will harden and clog the drain. It takes a little tender, love and care, but it is totally worth it. Do not be afraid to try it, for 8 dollars it’s really well priced and has done good things for my skin!! I’ve ordered this several times it’s great for face and hair masks. The latter more so if you have curly hair!!! It can be a bit painful when used as a face mask but in a good way! You may notice a bit of additional breakouts after use on the face. That’s normal! 100% recommend it for anyone looking for a solid hair and face mask.

I was hesitant to try this stuff, because I break out really easily. But, after reading reviews I thought it would be worth the price to give it a shot. I have used it 4 times now, and I do notice that my skin is softer, and my oil is controlled for at least 48 hours after using. I have tried it only with ACV, as others have said it works best that way. The first time I used it, I broke out TERRIBLY after. I was worried I was having a reaction to it, but I decided it was probably because it was actually WORKING! It drew out tons of impurities. And even though I broke out pretty good, it seemed to go away quicker than it normally would, and I haven't broken out like that since the first time using it. I also noticed that I didn't break out nearly as bad as I usually do when I got my period this month, so I am going to conclude that this mask really does help bring impurities out of the skin, and definitely helps control oiliness. The mask does get very tight as it dries. It didn't bother me enough to wash it off early, I left it on and waited until my timer went off. I wouldn't leave it on longer than 30 minutes. My face is definitely red after using it, but the redness subsides quickly, in about a half an hour. I use my Thayer's toner and Burt's Bees intense moisturizing night cream after I use this mask and it makes me skin feel awesome. As for washing it off, I know some people have said not to let it wash down the drain. I haven't let it. I use a hair catcher in the drain and then wipe out the excess with a paper towel to keep it from clogging the pipes up. I usually use it before I shower so I can wash it off while I'm in there. I did try to take it off at the sink one time but found it more difficult than doing it while showering. All in all, I'm very excited to see what happens as I use it more regularly.

Simply the best

My hair has a hard time retaining moisture. I have always had this problem especially since I live in a very dry area. I strongly strongly recommend this for you if this is your problem. It was very easy to apply. I first went in with a spray bottle to dampen my hair then I applied the product. I did all this in sections to make sure it was evenly distributed. I left it in for 30 minutes then I went in with a hydrating deep conditioner! Since the product is very stripping I didn’t not use a shampoo, but maybe it will not hurt using a moisturize shampoo to make sure your scalp is free of the clay. Make sure you wash you hair out thoroughly while washing the clay off. I realized i still had clad on my scalp which I was not able to see. So I would go in with a scalp scrubber to make sure it’s all out, because it might not be visible to your eyes. My hair felt SOOOO soft afterwards I have never had my hair feel like this after a wash! I was very impressed! I believe my hair was able to soak in my other products better as well! 10/10 recommend!

This is easy to use in combination with apple cider vinegar or just water I have already done a couple of mass treatments and by the next morning I can tell the difference your pore to be more shrunken, and your skin feels more firm and lift it. It has a pulsating effect after application, and it begins to dry so your face feels like it is pulsating like a heartbeat, which is weird and awesome at the same time. The clay is easy to apply (just add waster/Apple cider vinegar to a small amount of clay) and it is easy to remover with warm water. This clay does not seem to be like the old school, Aztec clay. I imagine because it is in new circulation, and they have to make so much of it in order to keep up with the demand. I do however, still enjoy using it and will possibly purchase another set when I run out of this one. This can be used in your bathtub, on your face to soak your feet and other parts of your body, such as your armpits. I would definitely recommend this if you are wanting to do a topical detox .

This stuff is AMAZING. I've had very very bad luck with clay masks in the past so I was nervous about buying this, but the reviews convinced me to give it a try. My skin is super sensitive and reacts to lots of different things, but I've used this mask a bunch of times now and not once has it stung, burned or irritated my skin, even mixed with apple cider vinegar! I don't have acne per se, just the occasional spots, but I did have some texturing on my cheeks that I have been surprised to see smoothing out over the past few weeks, and as the only thing I've changed in my routine is adding this mask, it must be the clay! I love that there's no additional ingredients as these are what irritates me with other brands, and it makes my skin feel so beautifully soft after rinsing, I just adore it. I use it once every 5 or so days, mixing 1 part acv with 2 parts water to make a smooth paste, and leave it on until almost dry. My skin is looking smoother and brighter (and my spots are getting more infrequent too!) with every application that I do, and since my only complaint is that it does make me feel dry, and this can be fixed by using a good moisturiser straight away, I can only say that this is the best mask I've ever used and I'll absolutely be coming back for more when my tub is empty!

Me encanta, mi piel es mixta con tendencia a ser más grasa, lo uso 1 o 2 veces por semana con vinagre de manzana y si se nota la diferencia. Lo mejor es que la cantidad es bastante y siento que me va a rendir bastante.
