Update International Acrylic Stirrer Dispenser

I use this at work and it works well.A few points:One knob was completely off when I got the package (not unscrewed, off) but I just pushed it back in and it works fine.The bottom has rubber tabs so it sits well on a table, however it is not very conveniently made for mounting.This hold a good amount of straws and is fairly easy to use.

This is a decent dispenser to keep your coffee stirrers sanitary. It looks modern, kind of diner-ish, and you can see the straws inside, which lets you know they are sanitary as well as when they are getting low. The acrylic is quality- sturdy and clear. My only caveat is that sometimes the straw gets stuck and you have to maneuver the roller dispenser lever back and forth or side to side to make it drop. If the manufacturer could make the dispenser lever more secure, or provide catches on the sides to prevent the sliding, it would probably fix this problem. But for the most part it works well and now I don't have to worry about dirty fingers touching all the stirrers.

I have purchased this to dispense small 5" straws for our coffee club .Nobody wants someone touching all at once.This product is very helpful controlling the amount of waisted stirrers.

I don't even know how it is possible but this dispenser does not fit my stirrers.The Update International Acrylic Stirrer Dispencer that was shipped to me (today) is useless because I can not get my coffee straws to fit inside of it. The dispenser is almost a quarter of an inch (1/4)to small, which really surprised me. Initially I just grabbed a small handful and tried to drop them in through the top slide open lid but a second later I realized that they didn't fit. I then began to insert them at an angle assuming they would realign on their own as I move the turn dial, but no success there either. I don't see how, CAN'T see how, this is a common problem occurence among other buyers, so I suspect that, unfortunately, the one I received is a 'lemon'. Based on this experience that I am sharing here with you is why I gave this product only 1 star. :( It will be to much of a hassle for me to return it so most likely I will take my kitchen shears and barely cut the stirrers back just a bit so that they will fit.Other than that I like the simple design and seemingly ('seemingly' because I haven't tried it yet) easy turn dial to rotate the next stirrer forward.Also another reviewer had mentioned that the clear design wasn't desirable for her as it reveals fingerprints all over hers, but this has not been the case for me. Granted, I have had this item less than one day, I did handle it quite a bit trying to figure out why my stirsticks won't fit and still I have not observed any fingerprints on it, even though I was expecting to. However, just because I hadn't noticed any doesn't mean this dispenser is fingerprint resistant so I would consider her review when making a good decision. ✌

I just bought this holder. It works great and just drops down one (1) stirrer at a time. It holds a lot of stirrers and the stirrers are real cheap by the box. I bought the holder and stirrer stick on Amazon.

This is a great way to keep other's hands off the coffee stirrers. I do wish it wasn't clear. Every fingerprint on the outside of the acrylic dispenser shows.

The slot design needs to be improved so that the straws fall nicely in for dispensing. The supplier could have also put one more slot in the cylinder, 180 degrees from the first one, so that people don't have to turn the knob for a full rotation before getting a straw. Otherwise, the dispenser is functioning correctly and keeping people's grubby hands off all the other stirrers!

I love this straw dispenser for our cafe. This is the cheapest and the most sanitary option. Customers can take one straw at a time without touching all the others with their possibly unclean hands. I have one on the table for coffee stirrers and one for drinking straws. If anything ever happens, I'll be purchasing this item again.
