Cuisinel 5-Quart 2.0 Cast Iron Dutch Oven Pot with Skillet Lid Preseasoned

Great cooking pot, 2 in 1 combo deal 😋

I absolutely adore this 3qt Cuisinel Cast Iron Dutch Oven. It is Pre-seasoned perfectly. The Combo Lid doubles as 8"-inch Skillet Frying Pan-so perfect. It has the silicone handle covers to take it out of the oven and to lift off the lid. It is the perfect size for my small sourdough boule recipe. They always end with a crusty beautiful color on the outside and lovely chewiness on the interior of each boule I make in it. I always use parchment paper on the interior when baking my bread in it. I loved making a small pot of chili in it as well. It has no reaction to other things being cooked in it as it retains the seasoning as I maintain it. So very happy with my purchase of this product! This would make a lovely gift to anyone that loves or has never tried Cast Iron cookware.,

It’s an awesome skillet!!

I use the lid more often than the pan, due to the larger surface area of the "lid". Both have been great! Easy to clean and keep seasoned. No Teflon. No aluminum. Deep dish pizza in the oven. Red beans and rice on the stove-top. Bacon. Okay, I gotta' go eat now!

This cast iron pot exceeded my expectations! It’s very sturdy, well-made, and retains heat incredibly well, making it perfect for slow cooking, frying, or baking. The lid fits securely, helping lock in moisture and flavor for delicious results every time. I love how versatile it is—I can use it on the stovetop or in the oven without any issues. The handles are strong and easy to grip, and the overall design feels durable and built to last. Cleaning is simple, and with proper care, this piece will last for years. It’s a great investment for anyone who enjoys cooking with high-quality cookware.

Love the 2 in 1. Very good and not real heavy.

I've owned this cast iron Dutch oven with lid for over 5 years and I LOVE it. I've made bread, dozens of spatchcock chickens in the lid, casseroles - everything cooks and browns beautifully and releases like a dream. We just wipe it down with oil after every use. But my feedback today is about an amazing recipe. I spatchcocked a chicken and seasoned with salt before coating the skin side with an emulsion of olive oil, lemon juice, rosemary and thyme and pepper. Then, instead of baking in the open, I flipped over the Dutch oven and covered the chicken. Cooked on a 400° oven for an hour then uncovered and put under the broiler until nicely browned. This made the most tender and juicy chicken I've ever experienced. Can't beat the heating properties of cast iron.

Love this. It's like having two pots in one. I have baked several times in the cover.

The cast iron dutch oven set was heavy but very versatile. Cleaning is easy though oiling after cooking may be a little extra work, but I'm glad to see the oven set working fine with the food cooked really tasty. The cover is very handy which saves wasting foil for the initial covering of my roast in the oven. I'm enjoying using the oven.

I purchased these about 8 months ago, and after the first use I wanted to give them a 5 star review, but after reading other reviews claiming rusting and poor quality I decided to wait. 8 month later, these cast iron pans are the best choice I've made in the kitchen. They are durable, versatile, and reliable. Please note, they do require a little bit of effort to clean and dry them properly, and you should probably do some research on how to cook properly with them; but if you treat these pans correctly they will return the favor. I have had no issues with the quality of these pans, no rusting or degradation after using them multiple times per week for the last 8 months. I have cooked everything from loaves of bread, to steaks, and everything baked mac & cheese in between. They function perfectly both on the stove and in the oven, and can be used as two separate pieces or as a lid for the other piece. Strongly recommend, just please do your research on use and care and they will last for a long time
