What a fantastic concept as well as execution. Extremely firm foam wheel with no give at all compared to other yoga wheels that are made with a pvc pipe type of material. The fingerholes are a great touch too. They really allow you to find stability when you go into an inversion or some other type of stretch. This is a must have for those looking to open up their back, hips, or move deeper into the physical asana practice of yoga. I received this product free for my honest review. I was intrigued by all the hype of the dharma wheel but it was priced pretty high and after expressing that as well as other concerns to AVIVA and was given theit Surya Wheel to try out, I'm on the bandwagon. I particularly like the little holes that you can stick your fingers into for more control and safety. I even use the stand as a prop. It is made of a sturdy foam and is excellent constructed. At $120.00 it is a premium option at a discounted price
