Thus far-Impressed!
As I went online to reorder another electrolyte replacement powder that I have been using for a few years now, I came across the KEY NUTRIENTS electrolyte replacement powder. As I compared the ingredients to what I had been using before, I found out that ALL of the electrolyte, vitamins & minerals were in higher amounts AND at a much cheaper price [currently, today, 2/24/21 though, the powder I was using before did drop the price to be more comparable with the KEY NUTRIENTS however the advantage that I see is the amounts of the electrolytes, vitamins & minerals-a big advantage for me] to be still for a 90 serving container. I was also impressed with not only the electrolyte ingredients but also the "other" ingredients that go into the mix as well. It is sweetened with stevia leaf extract and spirulina (for the BLUE RASPBERRY flavor) & beet root & beta-carotene (for the CHERRY-POM) gives it the color and as much of a label reader as I am for everything, I was more than willing to give this KEY NUTRIENTS brand a try. I ordered two containers the flavors being BLUE RASPBERRY & CHERRY POM(egranate). Today, 2/24/21 I decided to mix both flavors for my bicycling ride this morning. The attached picture show the CHERRY-POM flavor (red water bottle) & the BLUE RASPBERRY flavor (tinge of blue color water bottle). Mix 1 scoop (provided) into 16 oz of liquid (the bottles in the picture are 16.9oz size but I filled them only up to the neck of the bottle & I already drank some out of each bottle for a taste test). What do I think about the taste? For the BLUE RASPBERRY: First off, I like the tinge of blue color of the powder and with my first sip I first tasted a tartness followed immediately with a sweetness and I could even recognize the flavor being "berryish" Both the tartness and the sweetness were not overwhelming but nicely balanced. Personally, if a drink were to lean one way or another, I would prefer a tartness over a sickening sweetness but like I said, my taste testing of this one was very balanced-not too tart and not too sweet with the sweetness occurring about a second or two after the initial tartness. If you prefer something with an overly sweet taste then mixing this powder with juice or flavored drink would probably suit you. I found this drink to be refreshing and definitely something that I could drink throughout the day if needed. For the CHERRY-POM flavor: a nice light cherry red color and the first thing I noticed, after the color, was the smoothness of the drink. Not gritty or anything of that nature but the best way I could describe it would be "smooth". The taste sensation is a nice sweetness followed closely with a nice cherry taste! Here again, not overly sweet but just enough so that there wasn't even a tartness on this one -not sure if there should be anyway (perhaps the pomegranate would tend to give a tartness?) But in any case it was just sweet enough for me without an excessive sweetness; and like I said, I definitely recognized the cherry taste, not overwhelming, but noticeable. I'm not sure if I was able to discern the pomegranate component but definitely the cherry. Perhaps somebody else may be able to distinguish the pomegranate more than me. Now, the BLUE RASPBERRY has 6 electrolytes and 11 vitamins & minerals. The CHERRY-POM has 6 electrolytes and 12 vitamins and minerals. The extra vitamin is the Riboflavin that the BLUE RASPBERRY doesn't have, for whatever reason I don't know but shouldn't really make a difference that it doesn't have it. In conclusion, I'm very impressed thus far with the look, how easy it is too mix [note: about 40 minutes after mixing and refrigerating, I wanted to take a look at the mixture. I looked at both water bottles, as what is in the picture, and I noticed very fine, I guess one could say, granules, floating around as I swirled the bottles. It doesn't affect the "smoothness" of the drink and it still doesn't give it a "grainy" taste but I would suspect that something that has upwards of 20 different ingredients that perhaps a vitamin or mineral or one that is chelated? There are two ingredients that are chelated, selenium & chromium. My guess is , that perhaps a chelation might not necessarily go completely in solution or one of the other vitamins or minerals that may not be so absorbable in the mix but will breakdown better once it's in the body? In any case, I am not concerned about it as I've reviewed every ingredient and approve of the ingredients that are in these powders.] Now the test of actually drinking them during my ride. I suspect that they will do what they are supposed to be doing because of the higher amounts than my previous powder brand had. I could think it would only be better. If I notice a significant change as far as energy level and other measurable changes in my workout as compared to my former brand of powder then I will edit this review. But for now, I'm very impressed and happy to have found this brand of electrolyte replacement powder!

Best quality electrolyte
Been using this product for 3 years. I use to have hypothyroidism but have sense fixed that with diet. This product offers all the best minerals for the up keep of my thyroid and I feel great! Only side effects i ever have are feel great! It sits on my coffee stand and comes with a scoop for easy measurements. It has also helped keep my digestive tract feeling great! Ive noticed it mixes up very well but mix first and add ice second and continue filling after. There isn't even a bad flavor! It also uses stevia to sweetener so no raising the blood glucose!

Reluctant endorsee
I'm a skeptic about most "supplements" because they usually seem to cost a fortune and the scientific community usually finds that they don't do much. However, I was having horrible stomach cramps for days and nothing seemed to get rid of them. I've been on a Keto diet for a month now and the pains started in the last 7-10 days. They also coincided with my menstrual cycle so I wasn't sure what was causing the difficulty. After trying stool softeners, advil, and gasx, I decided I should order this electrolyte powder since I read more (granted from keto evangelists) about how magnesium and potassium can be missing from your diet on keto. I have to say that I noticed results almost immediately, definitely within a few hours. This is my third day using it; I've taken one dose daily and I don't have any more cramps! I don't see anything harmful here and it seems to be working as stated, so I guess I'm a believer. I was concerned that I would need to get medical attention so I'm thrilled to be without pain. As for the taste, I made the mistake of not mixing it well enough the first time and I got a gross blast of lemon powder in my first sip. I don't recommend that! I'm now filling my water bottle, dumping in a scoop, and then shaking it like crazy before adding ice. This seems to do the trick. I don't notice it settling too much and the taste is fairly inoffensive when well-mixed. I think there is a bit of a Stevia taste, but I hate Stevia and it's not throwing me off. It's definitely pricey, but I'll finish this bottle and see how it goes. If it (or some other supplement) is necessary to keep the cramps away, it's worthwhile.

The Honest To Goodness Truth...
Hello everyone. During my water fasting journey, I needed something to help deliver some electrolytes. Apart from taking supplement pills, I was searching for a more enjoyable method, and happened upon this product online. So after reading mixed reviews throwing this under the bus, neutral attitudes, and heavenly praise, I decided whatever... and bought two tubs to give it a go. They arrived two weeks faster than the estimated delivery date of between July 1-10th, which was incredible, and I reside in Canada, so it was even more surprising given the pandemic delays. Really impressed with shipping. I had seen some photos of tubs only filled half way, so I was prepared for the possibility that there may have been a discrepancy in product flow at the time of filling. I get that there isn't an endless feed of powder as the tubs roll by, and that machines can possibly run out mid fill. However, the tub I opened was filled to 75% of the container capacity, so I am thankful for receiving a complete product. After mixing the proper serving of powder to the correct quantity of water, and stirring for about 30 seconds, I can say that I am pleased with the taste. Based on my pallet, I liken the taste to that of lemonade as the product indicates, but it is a watered down flavor that isnt overpowering in sweetness, or sour. It is pleasantly tart and I enjoy that as opposed to very sweet when working out, or running and needing to hydrate on the fly. I appreciate the as close to water taste it provides, with a hint of flavor that helps. Of course depending on what you want to do, you can add more scoops and stevia up to make it sweeter to your liking, but personally I enjoy it as is. People have said it tastes like chemicals or medicine or whatever else which makes absolutely no sense if proper measurements of water is used with the 1 scoop serving. Clearly they've either used too much, or can't read/follow directions. Some have noted that not all of the powder disolves, and there are granules at the bottom afterwards. I read someone saying that it's the calcium that is left over because it isn't water soluble, so I buy that reasoning. I don't have the inclination to send samples off to a lab for analysis, nor the funds, so I accept it as calcium, and have no problem adding a little more water at the end to swish it around and drink it down. Or, as I approach the last bit to swish it in a circular motion, and consciously send as much of it into motion, to centrifuge it into my mouth for consumption. If you want to go another way, without needing to drink all of the water, just take the small scoop, and empty into your mouth, and drink it down with some water. You see those "hardcore" roid-ragers do with their pre-workouts in the gym lol, so for something like electrolyte, it would probably be just as easy without the need to drink 16oz of water. I have nothing else to really say, aside from wishing there was another flavor in stock at the time of purchase, so I could try another but that is minor. I think, the product tastes good, quenches thirst well, and provides a hit of electrolytes to keep you going per serving. At 90 servings per container, you really can't go wrong. Happy hydrating everyone!

I like it
I follow the carnivore diet pretty strict. The only thing I break it with is chewing gum, herbal or chai tea, and my electrolytes. I've used gelatin with my beef for awhile now. I find it makes the beef taste better and helps provide one heck of a delicious broth or demiglaze. I read several reviews of this claiming to put it into coffee instead of cream. While I hate coffee, I do enjoy a nice chai or hot cacao in the cooler months, so I thought I'd give it a try. I really like the mouth feel it provides and as long as I get my water temperature correct, I don't notice a flavor. I poured boiling water onto it once and I don't recommend that. It tasted scalded. I have terrible connective tissues, so anything that might help me there is worth trying. I know the science is still a question mark, but there's a lot of anecdotal and I have to admit that mine seem better when I'm drinking or eating it. Since it contains more types and sources, this blend has my vote. Now I'd also like to comment on the makers of the product. I originally tried their orange electrolytes. With the company being vet owned, my vet self liked being able to give their products a try. Unfortunately, the product just didn't work for me. I had a sensitivity to something in it. The person I reached out to for their guarantee not only gave me a full refund and told me to pass the product on to someone else or throw it away, but also gave me a discount code with the invitation to try something else in the line. Pretty cool, huh? She provided one of the best customer service experiences I've had from an electrolytes or keto/carnivore, or supplement provider. For that alone, I had to try another product. This is what I chose, and I'm very glad I did. It's a five star review from me. Tonight I sprinkled it on top of a pound of seared roast tips. It blended with the natural juices, the melted fat, and the slab of butter I added to the finished tips. Talk about a tasty richness and deliciously emoliant mouth feel. The roast tips were scrumptious before adding the powder, the addition of it turned them interstellar. This willbe a new staple in my pantry, and I can thank their spectacular customer service for the addition.

It's a bit different
Due to health issues, I need to drink a lot of electrolytes every day. I try to use electrolyte powders that aren't overly salty in a single serving, as it is better for me to spread that out through the day. I've been using a different brand with similar percentages of electrolytes. That one is pricier, so I thought I should at least try this one. It does what it is supposed to do, however in reality it is a lot different than powders I've used before. For one, the flavor is like a muted lemonade. It reminds me of the "lemon drink" at the doctor's that you have to drink before certain scans. It's a little meh. Not sweet, not sour, just very neon yellow. The consistency of the powder is also very different. This powder is fluffy, more like a cornstarch consistency. So it helps to add it to your water and get it shaken/stirred quickly. Other powders are more of a granulated consistency. It works, and it's cheaper, but I'm not sure how long I can deal with the flavor.

Your Health Is A Priority.
Ordered this product September 14th 2019. After learning via my favorite male model that properly hydrated skin comes from the right electrolyte balance, I searched the webs for the newest supplement to add to my diet as I'm already pretty strict about what I eat. Reading several reviews and having the flavor be lemonade was the cherry on top for this product. What it's done: I can honestly say after 90 days I have seen an improvement in my skin. It visibly looks more vibrant and I can tell it's elasticity is miles ahead than before I started consuming this product. Therefore it worked for the purposes I purchased it. However, because I also worked out 6 days a week I realized that electrolytes were the same thing advertised in things like Gatorade and Powerade; nutrients that would promote muscle recovery and just make you feel replenished. Boy was I right, not only does this powder come in handy after an intense sprint workout, it has gotten to the point where I will not go to the gym unless I've had my electrolyte drink prior. I can physically feel this stuff working in my favor whether it's high-intensity interval training or strength training. Yes it's that good, they've definitely made a customer out of me. Now to address reviews regarding the chalky lemonade flavor and dissolving: 1. The lemon flavor honestly tastes like powdered lemonade, which is impressive considering the lack of sugar in this product. Upon reading the label you will find stevia extract to be the reason it tastes so much like regular lemonade. I've personally always hated stevia and find it to be a terrible substitute for sugar, but the chemists behind this product fooled me this time because I didn't even know it was stevia up until writing this review. 2. The chalkyness that comes with it not dissolving correctly: I have a solution for you folks, pour another glass of water, swivle it around a little and drink the remaining powder. It's not that hard. Plus the powder tastes significantly better than any of those Flinstone vitamins I see people comparing this too. The payoff for the nutrients I am receiving from this product far exceeds any laziness I may have for pouring myself another glass of water. As a current student at University my health and my grades are my top priorities. If I ever get into an afternoon slump it's nice to know I can also rely on this powder to give me a subtle kick of energy I need to keep moving forward. It quickly supplies me with that mental clarity I'll need after hours of sitting in front of a screen and typing. And yes I can physically feel a difference in my actual head. It's wonderful. $30 for a 90 day supply for feeling both mentally and physically stronger is a convenient price to pay. Far less expensive than any of the other brands I've seen and so far does the job. I have purchased cherry-pom flavor and will look forward to reviewing that one soon.

Terrible after formula change
I have had this item on Subscribe and Save, and have purchased it twice in the past. The taste was mild, not too sweet, and only a hint of aftertaste. I usually mixed this powder with green tea for a refreshing, loaded tea drink. BUT the formula changed at some point this year, and it is now DISGUSTING. I don't like to leave dramatic reviews, but the changes to this powder are truly disappointing. I first noticed the color change from yellow to white powder. I thought it was initially good to remove the artificial coloring. BUT this powder now tastes chalky and adds an almost slimy taste/feeling. I am not sure if it tastes sweeter because I could not get more than a few sips down. I wanted to be sure that it was the new formula and not just me. I made a loaded tea again with this powder and same results. The powder tastes thick and chalky. I'm sad that this is no longer an option for electrolyte powder. The powder seems to dissolve fully but the taste it leaves behind is gross.

Got poisoned
I took it twice for only for one day and I went to the emergency room as I was throwing up and couldn’t eat/drink anything with a pain in my whole body and fever. I didn’t think it was from the electrolytes but my husband tried a couple of sips and he got a very bad stomachache. We gave it to a friend to try it and he got the same symptoms. Horrible product and it has a terrible metal taste.

Para deshidrataciones leves. Sabor sutil a medicina.

Good
I have some unflavoured electrolytes (by another company), but don’t really like the salty taste, so I tried this one, it is good value and the taste is acceptable, fresher and more lemony than expected. I have only two concerns, one is I think there is too many unnecessary ingredients, and the other is that even after mixing and shaking well in a bottle of water a lot of white granules are left behind that haven’t dissolved. I have now started making a lemon jelly with it which is really nice and refreshing, and a nicer way I found to get my electrolytes and some extra collagen and glycine as well. You make the jelly as you would normally with gelatine (beef or vegan) add hot water, a scoop of electrolytes and mix well. I mix a tablespoon of pure grass fed beef organic gelatine with some cold water (about 2ozs) to ‘bloom’ for a while, then add 16 ozs boiling water, stir until dissolved, let it cool down a bit, than add a scoop of electrolytes, stir well, when cool enough stick in fridge to set, plus there is no white residue this way, it all dissolves, I also bought a cheap ice cream maker to make my own ice cream with double cream, eggs and a scoop of organic vanilla flavoured protein powder…..lovely. I am currently doing Ketovore to try and heal from serious auto immune conditions and my diet has been severely restricted so being able to treat myself to jelly and ice cream without the guilt is wonderful, and as my bowl of lemon jelly is just filtered water, natural collagen, and my daily scoop of electrolytes, I can eat the whole bowl throughout the day (I do go easier on the ice cream though!)

I'm very happy with this electrolyte… Mine doesn't have maltodextrin
I have really been enjoying the Key Nutrients Electrolytes Powder Lemonade Flavour that I got back in November 29, 2023. (doesn't contain maltodextrin in the ingredients list) I used to get Dr. Bergs electrolyte powder because it has 3x the amount of potassium, but I couldn't justify the shipping prices to Canada anymore, so I'm glad I found this alternative on Amazon. Which has a lot more going for it and is less expensive. I usually only put half a scoop in with my 12 ounce water so that I can have it more often but I find it quite strong in flavour if I have the whole scoop. Though I think I don't need as much flavouring as most people do to be satisfied. I have also tried the 40 servings packets that comes with lemonade, pink lemonade, blue raspberry, watermelon and cherry pom. But I find that the blue raspberry, watermelon and cherry pom is way way too strong in flavour and didn't really enjoy them because of that. The pink lemonade though was great and therefore I purchased a container of that on April 13, 2024 (also didn't contain maltodextrin in the ingredients list… picture provided) I'm not sure why some are getting it with maltodextrin and can only guess that it could be from different facilities where they receive different types of Stevia and therefore have to have different labels. Hopefully it is a very small amount of maltodextrin.
