Fits perfect, looks good and Insalls in minutes and for what I think is a reasonable price. Hopefully it lasts a long time. I also like the way it rolls up to load cargo. Good job. Don't give too many reviews especially good ones.

Okay. A super lightweight and lengthy box was at the door. It took a total of 30 minutes to unbox and install start to finish. Install was easy and requires one standard screwdriver and a wrench/socket for the clamps. NOTE: I had to adjust the distance between the sides in order to ensure the cover would "clip" into the locks on the side. Easy. 5 minute mistake. The first thing I did was go to my local carwash. The extreme wind at the end of the wash helped me to feel good about the durability of the cover on the highway. The blowers are at various angles too and the cover didn't budge. There was water in the bed but I was already prepared to not have a 100% water-tight seal. The amount of water was not higher than the ribs of the bed liner so unless you have no plastic liner or just a painted liner your cargo will most likely stay dry-ish. A few hours later my 48 lb, 6-year-old daughter decided to walk across and bounce on the middle of the cover. I know, shame on her! I found out by seeing her footprints all over the top. The cover and support sections were okay but my daughter earned an early bedtime from it. All in all I think it looks great, works great and is priced well. One thing that I don't mind but others need to know is that the "lock" mechanism is primarily plastic. When the gate is closed its unlikely anyone will try to access the bed but if they have a basic metal pry tool and leverage those plastic clips will fail. I didn't buy mine for security and never leave anything in my vehicle I'm not willing to part ways with. Great purchase! Installed on quad cab 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 with 6.5 bed. I WILL UPDATE IF I EVER CHANGE MY MIND.

This was tricky to install. The instructions are unusable and even watching a youtube video on it didn't help me much. I found it to be all about the first step. The cover part sits on the truck bed all the way at the back. There are two plastic tabs that stick out, and these plastic tabs are what you need to slide the side rails onto. There's only one way to do it, the side rails will only mate with it correctly if you use the left side rail on the left side, and the back of the side rails is used to close the cover. Loosen the screws first, it will stay on once you tighten them. Once you have the side rails slid onto the plastic tabs, the installation is obvious and was easy. Now - don't do what I did when I needed to take the cover off. I couldn't figure out how to DETACH the side rails off of the plastic tabs. I didn't loosen the screws enough and we broke the plastic tabs. I was worried I had just ruined my new purchase, but the folks who sell this were kind enough to send replacement parts with no questions asked. I'm not the only one who's done this. Great service ! Good price. Really nice product. Kept everything dry and safe as we drove through a big California snowstorm and pounding rain. I didn't really feel excited when I bought it but now, I am a very happy user of the cover.

Updated 12/13/17: Used now for a few weeks, hasn't repeated the "popping free" that happened on my very first drive. Happy with the purchase - upgraded to 5 stars since it is a great value for much less than your average cover. Adjusting it initially took some doing because it is very sensitive to the spacing at the rear - a gap bigger than 1/8th inch on either side will cause it to pop open. Once I figured that out (at night...) it hasn't given me any more trouble. Original post: Installed pretty quickly, but latch mechanism is a bit frustrating. Took a while to get it adjusted right, and even then, it popped loose while driving to work today. I think for the price it is a decent value, almost $100 cheaper than my old cover, but I'm not a huge fan of the latch mechanism, as it doesn't have a latch, so much as the tension of the cover holds it in place. For those who might understand me, most of my tonneau covers had a release latch on one or both sides by the tailgate. This one just has a cable in the middle which you pull to release, but it feels kinda flimsy. it is a braided metal cable, so may be fine - I'll post an update if it fails me! Going camping in a week or two, that will put it to the test, as we'll be opening 7 closing the tailgate multiple times over that weekend.

The install was barely 15 minutes. Would have been less if I would have put the straps on the inside of the bed first. Really like that all the mounting hardware was preassembled and all I had to do was tighten everything up. This cover replaced one that I couldn't get to seal properly even though it was for my Ram 1500. This cover not only fits perfect, but love the fact the cover is contoured with the bed by the cabin. Real attention to detail. Fits tight and made of heavier canvas than the one I replaced it with. Very happy with this product and was delivered a day early.

Pleased with the cover. I had a cover on my 2019 RAM that never fit correctly and water got in. With this purchase I was focused on getting a tight water seal fit and based on research it seemed MaxMate would be the answer. And it is! The install was easy and the seal is perfect. The cover lays flat and creates a good overall seal.

The cover was about 3 or 4 millimeters too short for the frame on both sides. So we had to try and file down the plastic on the frame to even get it to latch. Not very happy with that as it should have lined up perfectly.. the rest looks nice.. even tho we had to hold it down with bungee cords until we could fix the issue. I would suggest maybe buying another cover if you dont want to have to alter it just to even use it. Edit: the locking mechanism also doesn't line up, so its basically useless. Don't waste your money, buy a different brand. Update: after shaving off the edges on each side and the company reaching out to me to assist with some placement issues, it will lock. It's a bit stiff and difficult to unlock but since its mostly used while locked in place it now works good enough. Rating updated from 1 to 3 stars as it does work, but it took a lot to get there.
