Clairol Natural Instincts Demi-Permanent Hair Dye, 5 Medium Brown | 1 Pack

One of my favorite hair dyes. I've been using this for about a decade now and I refuse to use anything else. My favorite part about it is that it gives you a very deep and vibrant color right off the bat and over time it fades out to a lighter, more natural looking color, but never becomes dull. The application is quite easy, you just put it on and wait 15 to 20 minutes and washing it out is a breeze. I constantly cycle between this color and one step darker.

Natural looking color, gradually fades, no damage. Smells so much better than typical dyes. It is quick and easy and your hair is left feeling and looking healthier than before. And it comes with a fairly large tube of a wonderful conditioner that you use once a week in between touch ups. I refuse to use any other dyes. And it leaves my hair healthier than the salon ever did, plus costs hundreds less.

I absolutely love this hair color! The color turned out beautiful and looked very natural. My hair felt silky soft after coloring, unlike some other brands that leave it feeling dry or make the color look brassy. It was easy to use, covered well, and left my hair looking healthy and shiny. I’ll definitely be purchasing this again.

Easy to use and gentle on hair. The formula feels mild and does not leave hair dry. The color looks natural and the shine after coloring is nice. The only downside. The color result is not strong. If you expect a bold change or strong coverage, the effect looks soft and subtle.

I decided to color my 73 year old bangs and temples whiting hair (rest has some white) for one last time after 4 years. This particular color is 2 shades lighter than my original brunette hair, but it did the trick 100% on everything BUT my bangs .maybe 85% as dark as the rest. Their included conditioner is always great

Love this colour, although this was one of the older boxes sent so it was great. It's the newer boxes I've had issues with. They've all seamed to be mixed incorrectly from the factory process. So I keep using hoping to get the outcome that's meant to be correct colour.

More natual and way cheaper way to enrich shine and colour to my aging hair :) I put on for shorter time - 5 mins, and it gives partial grey coverage that looks as natural as if i'd paid 200 and say for hours getting lowlights - without costing a fortune. It washes out after about 7-8 weeks - and washes out gradually without any roots line down the part - Plus it's more natural - The only thing is (IMO) they should reduce the amount of conditioner, you only need a little bit (it's quite smelly too but c'est la vie, i have reactions to fake perfumes but this is bearable) and then I like to switch to my own natual smell free conditioner. All that conditioner seems like a waste - I end up giving it away.

The longevity of this product wasn't the best. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week and the colour faded quite quickly. I went from light brunette to dark brunette and it was completely gone in two months. It was a nice change but I wish it lasted longer.

This wash out product is really good. You can only see the red in my hair come out after a handful of washes. I’ve gotten lots of compliments and started as a light auburn brown colour. It also covered my grays pretty well.
