Good quality as compared to prestige
Ordered this on june 2020. Build qualiTy is quite good as compared to the cost. Takes 10 seconds max to heat 1 liter and 20-25 seconds max for full capacity. Strongly recommend this product if you are looking anything below the budget of 1.5k. Before this I ordered Prestige but that one was really really weak in build quality. I returned prestige and got this.

Reliable kettle.
This kettle has now been in regular daily use for several months. Plus points are: decent quality stainless steel and plastics. So far, sturdy and reliable. Decent weight, not too flimsy not too heavy. Good volume for use by household of 3 people. Power cord is quite short, so will need to be placed close to electric socket. Auto shut off works well. Single main negative is that stainless steel rim is EXTREMELY SHARP so be very careful when washing. Also, stainless steel body does get hot when water is boiling so be careful not to touch it & use plastic handle to lift kettle.

NOT LONG LASTING! DISAPPOINTING
I loved the product, good build quality, easy to use, worked well. But started giving me problems after ONE YEAR. NOW STOPPED WORKING. Bit disappointing, cause Solimo makes good long lasting products.

Get the water boiling in a minute. Quite satisfied with the quality and standards followed to develop the product. Highly recommendable.

Kettle with decent cord length
I was searching for a kettle with minimum one metre cord and that was y I decided to buy this. Solimo kettle didn’t put me down. Length of the cord is 107cm from the base (till the plug) though they claim 1.5m in the description. Kettle is easy to use and it’ll take 6 minutes to boil 1.7 litres of water. Only con is that the lid is made of plastic. Otherwise it is a good product. I guess Rs 949 is a bit high. Body of the kettle and upper part of the handle get hot after boiling water. Packaging of the kettle was also good and delivery was fast. I got the product on 04/02/2020 only. Will update you guys regarding it’s working after 6 months or so.
