Great "baby mower" for apartment life!
This 3-in-1 has exceeded my expectations! My landlord only has our yard service come every two weeks, which is not frequent enough during summertime in Florida. I got this to help maintain the yard between regular cuts, mainly so that I don’t have to wade through foot-high grass to tend to my flower beds and so that the building’s pooch tenant can comfortably take care of her potty needs. I will start by saying that the mower deck does not sit completely level on a regular floor, but it does seem to roll fine through the yard. I haven’t figured out yet how to adjust the wheel height (not covered in the manual). I’m happy with what it’s set at, but I’m wondering if that’s why the mower deck isn’t level. I also had a heck of a time attaching the guard. It was very awkward trying to hold the trimmer in place and simultaneously snap the guard in place. That was the only challenge for me in putting it together. I don’t know the measurements of the yard (I’m terrible with guesstimating), but I was able to mow the whole thing with both batteries. Follow the directions and fully charge both batteries before use! I was expecting each battery to only last 20 minutes as it says, but it was actually closer to 30 apiece. Bummer that it takes four hours to charge each battery, but I knew that going into it. I may end up buying another charger so that I can charge them both at the same time. I’ve also had no issues with the auto-feed spool so far. I can also say that mowing through thick grass worked beautifully and actually better than in some of the thin spots. It seems like a lot of the review videos I watched showed people mowing back and forth in short motions like you would a vacuum cleaner. I found it easiest and most efficient to mow in a continuous row, overlapping when you turn around to come back, same as I would do with a regular mower. Although I am short, I did have to extend the handle quite a bit so that I could walk and mow comfortably with good posture. Holding the trigger to keep it running may seem awkward to people at first, but I was already accustomed to other cordless products that work the same way. I LOVE that it only weighs ten pounds! I can easily lift it with one hand and get it up the front steps and carry it through my apartment without getting residual dirt and grass clippings everywhere as was my concern with having to roll a much heavier traditional cordless mower. I just plop it with the mower base down into a box in a closet for storage. I am giving it 5 stars for now! I’ll have to see how battery life and spool usage go over the long term. So far, this is a great value at the June 2026 Prime Day price of $122.55, roughly $50 cheaper than the regular price on Amazon or at Home Depot or Walmart.

Below are my thoughts on each feature
I bought this unit because I needed a small, lightweight mower that I could transport back and forth to my mom's house. I'm happy it came with two battery packs but it turns out my job is small enough that I only need one. So far, this little guy fit my needs; I can lift it with one hand and use it as a trimmer and edger. Below are my thoughts on each feature: MOWER This was my primary concern. I only have to mow a very small patch of lawn. It's brand new grass, but it's grown so long. That said, the mower did well on areas that it trimmed; but rows of grass got pressed flat by the wheels, so those blades did not get cut by the trimmer. I wouldn't blame the mower for that, because I can't see that any mower could reach blades that are lying flat. I suppose as the grass blades thicken up and stand up better, I will have less problem with that. What I did in the interim was mow like I was pushing a vacuum cleaner with one hand while raking the grass blades upright with the other. The blades that were cut were even to the ground but they look somewhat swirled. The platform can be adjusted but that's nowhere to be seen in the manual. I only knew about it because of a sticker placed on the platform, but it's not immediately clear how to do that. You have to reach under and pull the axle. There is only low and high and it comes set on high. I like the default setting. The handle also telescopes. That is not in the instructions, either, but I played around with it, figuring there's no way they only want short people to use this thing. Basically, you unlock the handle like you want to tilt the head but instead, pull the handle out. TRIMMER Changing from mower to trimmer to edger and back is super quick and easy. It's one of the best things about this combo. The trimmer action itself is superb. I have no complaints. EDGER Ditto for the edger. It converts easily from edger to trimmer and vice versa, and it cuts like a dream. OVERALL IMPRESSION Because I have to push like a vacuum cleaner, I wouldn't recommend this as a mower for large areas. That would be too inefficient. Small areas like what I have are fine. The trimmer/edger works like any other trimmer/edger, so if you want something primarily for trimming/edging, I highly recommend this unit.

Light weight and works better than I expected!
I live in Phoenix on an acre parcel and most of it is in desert landscape. Therefore no formal lawn to mow. Yaaa. However when it rains here the weeds grow, well like weeds. Fast and furious. This year we had lots of rain and lots of weeds. I've been running a battery powered weed eater every day for a week or so. My back is aching from twisting sideways back and forth so it was time to look for a better solution. I figured how about a small battery powered lawn mower and then I found this thing at about half the cost. So figuring I'd probably junk it after a couple tries I decided to give it a try. Really glad I did. Soon as it arrived I put it together and out I went. It had just rained again and everything was wet but I had to try it. Worked perfectly. Knocked down and chewed up everything I ran it over and no extra back pain as a bonus. I charged up the batteries( comes with 2) overnight and set out to do a good cleanup the next day. This thing is a real delight. It runs about 20 minutes on each battery and since the batteries are fairly small you can carry the spare one in your pocket. another thing about the batteries is the way they eject from the tool. Push the button on the battery and it pops out of the tool's battery compartment. I mention this because removing the battery from my other "green" weed eater is a real chore You have to push in 2 tabs, one on each side of the battery, and forcibly pull it from the tool. My wife can't even manage doing it and I barely can, often resorting to prying it loose with a screwdriver while pushing the tabs with both hands. The black and decker baterries just eject with 1 hand by pushing the button, I love it. When you get close to a fence or wall and the platform won't get close enough, the weed wacker removes from the deck instantly by stepping on a lever on the deck and lifting the handle of the weed wacker forward and up. To return it back in the deck reverse the process, simple and easy. Keep in mind this is a regular string trimmer. It is not a bladed lawn mower and does not do the job of a bladed lawn mower It is a string trimmer on wheels. because you push it similar to vacuming a carpet , front and back, front and back, instead of constantly twisting sideways it doesn't put the strain on your arms and back liike a regular string trimmer does. It does not mulch as fine as a mower would and if you have tall weeds or grass as I did you will need to make several passes, as you would with any string trimmer except you don't have to hold it up, just push it back and forth. I have not had to replace the line yet so I cannot comment on that, except to say looking at it, it looks like the exact same process as the other 2 trimmers I have. To clear the bottom of the deck I simply remove the trimmer and wash out the deck with a hose. its been coated with wet grass almost every time I finish. I'm sure dry shorter vegetation will cut much easier. I'm cutting damp weeds and bermuda grass about knee high. The deck is light weight plastic but seems durable enough. If the deck should deteriorate and I have to replace it, the replacement cost of the set is about the same as a different manufacture's string trimmer alone. but I'll worry about that if it happens. so far I have no regrets whatsoever.

Weed wacker good-trolley a miss
The weed wacker part is great, light weight, works well-battery life about 15 min, but comes with 2 batteries. The edger feature isn't that great-you weed wack your edge so not a clean look. The trolley part-it's a waste. It is light weight and rolls smoothly but it's not a good cut-it's weed wacking your lawn on wheels. I have 2 small strips of lawn and honestly, it took longer to go back and forth like a weed wacker than to fire up the mower and knock it out. So it is light weight and I like the weed wacker feature but I wouldn't recommend the trolley part and you will need a better edger to get a clean look. Not a very long battery life-maybe 15 minutes

BEST MOWER
DEFINITELY AN EXCELLENT BUY. THE DESIGN IS TINY, AND WILL MAKE YOU DOUBT IF IT WOULD BE POWERFUL ENOUGH WELL IT IS. I HAD MEASURED MY YARD IN DIFFERENT ARES TO MAKE IT EASY FOR EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH SPACE YOU WILL COVER WITH THIS YARD. MY BACKYARD MEASURES 25 FT BY 10 FT. IF I DID ONLY THIS PART THE BATTERY SHOULD VA LASTED FOR ME TO MOW THE VERY HIGH GRASS THAT I HAD SINCE MY GAS POWERED MOWER DIED AND I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO MOW IT UNTIL I DO SOME RESEARCH AND FINALLY BOUGHT THIS UNIT. THE MOWER COMES WITH 2 BATTERIES WHICH LAST FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES EACH. KEEP IN MIND THAT MY GRASS WAS WET SO IT MADE IT WORK A LITTLE BIT HARDER. SO IF YOU HAVE A YARD THIS SIZE IT SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR YOU TO MOW ON 1 BATTERY AND TRIM IT AFTER THAT. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST USING THIS MACHINE ON WET GRASS, EVEN THOUGH IT IS A WELL BUILT MACHINE IT MAKES IT HARDER FOR YOU TO MOW SPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE NOT MOWED FOR A GOOD PERIOD OF TIME. SO GOING BACK TO MY YARD SIZE I MEASURED NE PART (THE BACKYARD 25 X 10 FT) THE SMALL FRONT YARD, 8 FT BY 8 FT THE OTHER PART OF THE FRONT YARD 25FT BY 6 FT AND THE OTHER PART OF THE FRONT YARD 15 FT BY 7 FT. I THOUGHT THAT MY YARD WAS SMALL COMPARED TO MY OLDER SINGLE FAMILY HOME WHICH HAS A HUGE YARD. NOW I LIVE IN A TOWNHOUSE CORNER LOT SO THE YARD IS MUCH BIGGER THAN INSIDE TOWNHOMES. ALSO FOR TALL GRASS YOU WILL HAVE TO MOVE IT BACK AND FORWARD BECAUSE AS I SAID IT IS TALL AND JUST LIKE A GAS POWERED MOWER THAT YOU HAVE TO MOVE IT SLOW OR IT WILL GET STUCK, THIS ONE CAN OVERHEAT AND YOU CAN DAMAGE YOUR UNIT. I GUESS YOU WILL BASICALLY MAKE THE MOVES LIKE IF YOU ARE VACUUMING A HOUSE, THIS IMPORTANT STEP MAKES YOUR LIFE EASY. HANDLE IS EASY AND COMPACT ENOUGH FOR YOU TO NOT NEED TO PUSH LIKE THE HEAVIER GAS POWERED ONES. THE ONLY CON IS THAT YOU HAVE TO KEEP PRESSING AND YOU CAN EASILY GET TIRED BUT IT IS NOT A DEAL BREAKER. IT ALSO HAS A AUTO FEED SYSTEM SO LIKE OTHER TRIMMERS YOU DON'T HAVE TO KEEP FEEDING THE LINE ONCE IT GOES OFF, IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY FEED ITSELF BUT ONCE IN A WHILE IT MAY GET STUCK OR THROW TOO MUCH LINE AND YOU HAVE TO STOP AND CORRECT IT. TO CORRECT IT TAKE THE CAP OF THE FEEDER AND MOVE IT WHILE PULLING IT A BIT OUT COUNTERCLOCK WISE UNTIL YOU ARE LEFT WITH LITTLE LINE ABOUT 2 INCHES THEN YOU PLUG IT BACK IN. YOU HAVE TO PLAY WITH IT SO YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. I WAS MOWING MY GRASS WITH MY SPEAKERS ON AT 6 AM, AND MY WIFE SIAD THAT SHE COULD HEAR MY MUSIC BUT SHE COULDN'T HEAR THE MOWER SO IT IS PRETTY QUIET, SHE IS VERY SENSITIVE WHEN IT COMES TO NOISE SO IT MUST BE VERY QUIET. ANOTHER PRO IS THAT YOU WILL NOT GET AS NASTY AS YOU DO WITH A GAS POWERED ONE. REASON FOR THIS IS THAT SINCE IT IS SO TINY IT DOESN'T MOW AS MUCH AS A REGULAR GAS AND HAS LESS POWER THAT IT DOESN'T THROW TO MUCH AT YOU. REMEBER THAT WHEN YOU MOW YOU GET ALL GREENISH, WELL THIS WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN I POSTED PICTURES OF MY SOCKS AFTER MOWING A LOT OF GRASS EVEN ON WET. YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO USES GLOVES OR A BRUSH TO GET THE GRASS AT THE BOTTOM, JUST LIKE A GAS PWOERED ONE YOU WILL ACCUMULATE GRASS UNDER THE TRIMMER AND YOU WILL HAVE TO STOP AND MAKE A CLEAN JUST TO BE SAFE AND NOT TO OVERHEAT THE UNIT. IT IS VERY LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO USE AND A PERFECT REPLACEMENT FOR A GAS POWERED ONE, I M GIVING FIVE STARS BECAUSE IT DOESN'T DESERVE TO GET LESS BECAUSE OF THE CONS THAT IT HAS. NO MAJOR ISSUES. IF PEOPLE GIVE IT LESS THAN 5 STARS IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT USING IT ON WHAT I WAS MADE FOR.....SMALL LAWNS...... AS YOU CAN SEE ON MY PICTURES MY LAWN WAS VERY TALL IT WAS MORE THAN 12 INCHES, BUT THE MOWER DID A GOOD JOB AND DID NOT WEAKENED AT ANY POINT. BATTERY DOES NOT LAST AS LONG AS IT SAYS BUT HEY IT IS WAY ABOVE AVERAGE IT LASTED MORE THAN I WAS EXPECTING IT. I WAS ONLY EXPECTING IT TO RUN FOR 10 MINUTES ON EACH BATTERY. I WAS ALSO EXPECTING IT TO EAT A LOT OF THE LINE CUTTER BUT IT DIDN'T YOU HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND THAT ON A GAS PWOERED YOU HAVE TO SPEND ON OIL, GAS MAINTENANCE AND HOPE THAT NOTHING HITS THE BALDES BECAUSE AS SOON AS THEY ARE TORN YOU ARE OUT OF A MOWER. MAKING THE MATH IT WILL BE ABOUT THE SAME BUT WITH THE CONVENIENCE OF A MUCH SMALLER MOWER THAT YOU CAN HANG ON ANY WALL YOU HAVE USED FOR TOOLS. I HOPE MY REVIEW HELPS BUYER AND DEFINITELY IT IS WORTH THE TRY. GREAT QUALITY BUT REMEMBER IT WILL BE BEST FOR SMALL LAWNS BUT YOU CAN USE IT ON LARGER AREAS BUT IT WILL REQUIRE YOU TO WORK A BIT MORE. PROS

Great to handle and reliable.
Awesome light weight mower! This is my 4th year using it! Does a great job! One hand to carry it, use it, and store it away. How big a yard you have should play into it. I live on an end and have 2 small and 1 big back yard. Two batteries I still have from time of purchase. It takes one battery per cutting, but I just recharge for the next time when I'm done. And you can always use the second battery.

Cheap and not functional for me.
I bought this because I have a small yard I need to maintain. The weed whacker portion works great, however the base would not snap on no matter how hard I tried. Also the batteries only last about 15mins each and take around 4 hours to charge. I returned and just bought a basic weed whacker to take care of the yard. It cost less than half of the price and did the same job.

Great Little Mower and Trimmer!
This little baby is a great item. It snaps in and out easily. It isn't heavy. Best time to use it is when the grass is DRY and not too long . It is easier for clean up and it comes out nicer also not much debris grass to drag in house. I only have a little spot I use it for. it does work correctly for that. The batteries hold a ok charge for what I use it for. about 20 minutes per battery. It does depend on what your doing with it ,you may get more out of them. I struggle with mobility so I go a little slower .I also take advantage of the wheels and let it do the walking. I do clean mine up before a put it away. Corded tools are more of a struggle for me because of disability issues so this thing has worked well. I do have guys that help me but until they get here I Love that I can wheel this little baby out and get the little area where I need done. Also for the most part the line feed works well. Keep spare Line spools handy so you can pop one in when your run out.

Excellent customer service and very convenient product
Very light weight and saves your back compared to a regular trimmer. Perfect for regular types of longer grass, but not suitable for anything "woody" or very dense. Customer service with this company was excellent! I received 2 faulty batteries, they weren't lasting anymore then 11 and 14 mins. I contacted the company, and after troubleshooting they sent me a whole new replacement unit. Very satisfied with this product and company!
