Great "baby mower" for apartment life!
This 3-in-1 has exceeded my expectations! My landlord only has our yard service come every two weeks, which is not frequent enough during summertime in Florida. I got this to help maintain the yard between regular cuts, mainly so that I don’t have to wade through foot-high grass to tend to my flower beds and so that the building’s pooch tenant can comfortably take care of her potty needs. I will start by saying that the mower deck does not sit completely level on a regular floor, but it does seem to roll fine through the yard. I haven’t figured out yet how to adjust the wheel height (not covered in the manual). I’m happy with what it’s set at, but I’m wondering if that’s why the mower deck isn’t level. I also had a heck of a time attaching the guard. It was very awkward trying to hold the trimmer in place and simultaneously snap the guard in place. That was the only challenge for me in putting it together. I don’t know the measurements of the yard (I’m terrible with guesstimating), but I was able to mow the whole thing with both batteries. Follow the directions and fully charge both batteries before use! I was expecting each battery to only last 20 minutes as it says, but it was actually closer to 30 apiece. Bummer that it takes four hours to charge each battery, but I knew that going into it. I may end up buying another charger so that I can charge them both at the same time. I’ve also had no issues with the auto-feed spool so far. I can also say that mowing through thick grass worked beautifully and actually better than in some of the thin spots. It seems like a lot of the review videos I watched showed people mowing back and forth in short motions like you would a vacuum cleaner. I found it easiest and most efficient to mow in a continuous row, overlapping when you turn around to come back, same as I would do with a regular mower. Although I am short, I did have to extend the handle quite a bit so that I could walk and mow comfortably with good posture. Holding the trigger to keep it running may seem awkward to people at first, but I was already accustomed to other cordless products that work the same way. I LOVE that it only weighs ten pounds! I can easily lift it with one hand and get it up the front steps and carry it through my apartment without getting residual dirt and grass clippings everywhere as was my concern with having to roll a much heavier traditional cordless mower. I just plop it with the mower base down into a box in a closet for storage. I am giving it 5 stars for now! I’ll have to see how battery life and spool usage go over the long term. So far, this is a great value at the June 2026 Prime Day price of $122.55, roughly $50 cheaper than the regular price on Amazon or at Home Depot or Walmart.

I love everything except the short battery life.
It works really well, and is super easy to operate. I’ve made good use of it. My only complaint is that the batteries don’t have a long use time, especially for how long it takes to charge each one. Each time I’ve used it I’ve had to go back to my corded trimmer to do the last 1/3 of my trimming because both batteries died and they don’t charge quickly enough to charge one while I’m using the other. I would like to see a larger capacity battery to replace the standard ones. Though I will likely just buy a couple more standards eventually. If not for the battery life this would be 5 starts.

Out of this world dream 3-in-1 mower, trimmer, edger is tops and old lady approved!!
The 3-in-1 Black + Decker lawn mower, trimmer is tops in my book! Let me tell you I sure wish I had this gem of a tool years ago and not when I’m 71. I just happened to see this when I was looking at yard tools on Amazon. When I saw it was Black + Decker I knew it was worth a try. And it’s a game changer. The kids that used to do lawns in my area don’t want to do it now. And that’s okay now that I found what I call my “Barbie doll mower” 😆 When I picked up the box it came in my thought was there is just no way there is a lawn mower in this box. But Black + Decker did not disappoint! It works like a charm. I can mow my own lawn often to keep up on it and keep it looking nice without paying someone. And at the very low cost I could buy one of these every other month and be at the cost I was paying. So no more weed whacking for me like I had to do recently after the weeds got out of control while I was trying to find somebody to do my lawn. I was not able to upload a video so I will tell you instead. I can mow and turn the mower to an angle with ease. I can stop mowing if I see a spot that needs the trimmer, remove the handle and trim the spot, then reattach and continue mowing. The mower also gets into tight spots and goes on an incline easily to mow in front of plants. It is light to life and carry. Color me happy! The only reason that it looked like I was having trouble is because I was taking the video with one of my hands. Lift out the trimmer which is also the edger. The battery life may not be as long as I would like but the two charged batters are enough to do the mowing. After recharge I can do the edging.

Weed wacker good-trolley a miss
The weed wacker part is great, light weight, works well-battery life about 15 min, but comes with 2 batteries. The edger feature isn't that great-you weed wack your edge so not a clean look. The trolley part-it's a waste. It is light weight and rolls smoothly but it's not a good cut-it's weed wacking your lawn on wheels. I have 2 small strips of lawn and honestly, it took longer to go back and forth like a weed wacker than to fire up the mower and knock it out. So it is light weight and I like the weed wacker feature but I wouldn't recommend the trolley part and you will need a better edger to get a clean look. Not a very long battery life-maybe 15 minutes

Highly recommend this!
I absolutely love this. I have several areas near my garden that the ride in mower is just not appropriate for. Up until I got this the first year I had blisters from using garden shears to cut around pots, then I upgraded and thought the little garden clippers that look kinda like hair buzzers were the best thing in the world. But it's a very large area and it can be very time consuming, just a lot of bending over. Is sustainable. Then I found this and I'm able to cut around several different areas where my garden is. I have several raised beds. A large 17x17 ft. Enclosed garden, as well as an l-shaped garden near the horse pasture. The only problem with it is if I use the regular ride on mower close by the grass blows up on my plants and I don't want them to get some weird fungal infection or powdery mildew or any of the other things that could come along with that. This literally was so fast to trim around those areas and in between the raised beds without having to bend over constantly periods. So this is saving my back and my peace of mind. It did take me both batteries to get through all of it but the second one didn't die and I was able to cut a little extra far out from all of the beds just to keep the right on mower from having to go too close. You have excellent control because it is so small and light and you can quickly switch between using the wheels and just using it as a weed wacker. I highly suggest investing in this if you are in a similar situation as me. It's been a lifesaver.

Love it, and would buy again!
I bought this mainly because we need a weed eater. My uncle has a tractor mower, and comes and mows our lawn and my grandparent's lawn (they live right next door to us) every other week or so, but the weeds close to the house, and off the curb need to be cut. He used to bring his weed eater too, but hasn't at all this year, and they got to be almost 4' tall by the time I found this to purchase. I did a lot of research on weed eaters. I needed one that was light enough for me to handle, didn't vibrate as much as most do, and also had the edger function. Yes, you can turn any weed eater into an edger by holding it differently, but the guide on this really helps me out. It's super easy to do with the twist of the handle, lock it in place, and you're good to go. Our sidewalks at both places, haven't been edged in goodness......many many many years. The grass and weeds had grown many inches past where the sidewalks actually end on each side. This made the first couple of times edging a bit difficult, and cumbersome. It wore out the batteries really fast, which was frustrating. However, it did make me take breaks. Long ones. I would love to get the fast charger for the batteries, since it takes many hours to charge each one. I highly recommend, making sure both are fully charged before starting any project that will take more than 20 minutes. I do love that the batteries stop blinking when they are charged. You also cannot overcharge them, which is huge to me, because I always have a tendency to forget batteries that are being charged, and leave them on the charger for days on end. That is perfectly ok with these! No worries! My grandparent's lawn is more of a fescue......very thin blades, and easy to cut. Our lawn is more like bermuda grass, and is very very thick, and takes more energy to cut. I am able to cut their front lawn in 20-30 minutes with this mower. Then I switch out the battery to do edging and weed eating. I love this mower/weed eater/edger!!! It's great! It's super lightweight, and the vibrations are definitely there, but not noticeable when in mower mode. I do notice them when using the edger/weed eater though, so I need to get some anti-vibration gloves to help out with that. My nerves have a difficult time handling vibration, even from a shopping cart across a parking lot. They vibrate for hours afterwards, it's quite irritating. So, most probably would not think the vibration is an issue at all is what I am trying to say. I am just way more sensitive than most people are when it comes to that. It was super easy to put together. I did it by myself in about 15 minutes or less. It's mostly put together anyway. I did watch a youtube video on the assembly that someone did, and I highly recommend it. It was very helpful. I watched it before it arrived, and then I was ready to assemble when it got here. The weed eater is a breeze to remove and put back into the mower section. Just press your foot on the handle and it releases it. To put it back in, just place it in the open section matching the shape of the weed eater, and lock it in place by pressing down with your foot on the segment. It really couldn't be easier. I can lift the entire mower/weed eater/edger with one hand, and that is including with the battery. It can't weigh more than a few pounds. It's probably the lightest mower out there, and probably weed eater too. It feels like a child's play mower it's so light. It cuts nicely, and evenly, and it's easy to see where I have mowed and where I haven't. It does a nice, clean job. I am quite impressed with it, as is my grandpa. I never thought I'd be mowing a lawn with a weed eater, but it works great! Now, I have not attempted to mow our backyard with it, because of the thick bermuda grass. It is quite a large yard, and it would take me several days to mow it just because of all the charging I'd be doing with the batteries. I figure, my uncle is going to mow it no matter what anyway, so I'll let him do the backyards, and I'll handle the front yards, and do all the weed eating and edging. It works out great for us, and I definitely recommend it, but do recommend either another set of batteries, or the fast charger for them. I would definitely buy it again, no doubt! *This product was purchased at full price, for our own personal use.

Battery disappointment
*update - I really wanted to like this tool. So I let both batteries fully charge again and tested their run time. One battery lasted 8 minutes, and the other, 12 minutes. I think the tool itself is a great idea, but the batteries that comes with it, make the product completely useless. I will be returning unless the manufacturer is able to send better batteries. The tool itself was easy to use and assemble so I had high hopes for it! However the battery life left me deeply disappointed. 2 hour charge time per battery for 10 minutes of use just seems like a complete let down. Contemplating returning for something else. What I was able to cut looks nice. But with my quarter acre, it will take me a week just to finish the yard.

Excellent product!
Amazing! This thing is so lightweight you can lift it with one finger, yet it mowed my whole yard as well as my big gas powered mower. The trimmer/edger is so easy to access, and it pops back on like magic. I already have the Black + Decker hedge trimmer and leaf blower. Couldn't keep up my yard without them. I especially love how this mower came with 2 batteries. That makes it an even better deal. Perfect for this "little old lady".

Excellent customer service and very convenient product
Very light weight and saves your back compared to a regular trimmer. Perfect for regular types of longer grass, but not suitable for anything "woody" or very dense. Customer service with this company was excellent! I received 2 faulty batteries, they weren't lasting anymore then 11 and 14 mins. I contacted the company, and after troubleshooting they sent me a whole new replacement unit. Very satisfied with this product and company!

Pleasantly surprised
My backyard which is 30 * 50 feet had grass over 6 - 8 inches high. There was a bit of a learning curve on how best to handle the mower. As a result, I ended up using 3 batteries (having to charge one of them) in order to completely mow my rear lawn. Now, that my backyard is done and my experience using it in the front and sides of the house, it only took a single battery to mow and trim the backyard 4 days later. The advantages are many...Cordless (no fumes, no gasoline and no hassle with starting), extremely light and compact. Easy to clean and built sturdy and durable (as I had already dropped it twice when setting it up). The main disadvantages are the batteries will die under heavy load in about 15-20 minutes as found with thicker, lush lawns or cutting at its lowest setting. The charging time is 4 hours for a single battery making a good case for getting the fast charger with your initial purchase. Handling takes a bit of getting used to and the retaining clip that holds the trimmer in place can pop out due to grass build up if one is not holding the unit level, (I add light pressure on its rear wheels as I mow.) To be clear, this is for small yards and anything larger than 1500 square feet would be impractical as the mower is barely a foot wide. That being said, it cannot compete with the precision cut of a traditional metal blade mower but it gives a far better cut than the reel mower I had used for several years.
