By far the most sturdy & well-made cold brew filter I've seen! Does a great job! Highly recommend!

This product is very nice. The strainer works great for coffee or tea. I use it with a half gallon Ball mason jar. Its easy to clean. Seems very sturdy. I have one issue with it. It comes with two different sizes of rubber gasket and I cant use either one. The lid will not line up with the threading on the jar(s) if there is a gasket in there. This is a minor issue, except i have a small fridge and it would be nice to sometimes store the bottle laying down. Since i cannot use the gaskets provided to do that, the lid and gaskets are next to useless. Since i bought this particular strainer because it came with a lid, I am understandably disappointed.

I'm a big fan of the one I already have. I decided it was time to order another. What arrived looks like a poor reproduction of the original. First, it arrived with the bottom hanging loose from cylinder. On closer inspection, the ring on the bottom is about half the depth and a fraction of the sturdiness of the one I have. The seam, which is one of the selling points, is no longer nearly invisible and is now a 2/3" fold. Even the rubber gasket doesn't have the same feel. This was a huge disappointment.

If I were making this purchase again, I think I might opt for two filters instead of purchasing the kit. I haven't yet tried the coffee, the jar is useful but can be obtained easily elsewhere, but the filter is fantastic – easy to clean and a very fine mesh. Making cold brew would likely have been just another fad for me had I not stumbled upon this filter. There are certainly more complex systems out there, and maybe one day I'll try them, but for the foreseeable future I will continue producing batch after batch of delicious cold brew with this filter.

It works well, but the lid is very loose and doesn't fit properly. So you have to be very careful.

As always, T & Co products are expertly crafted and sturdy. Thank goodness, because I don’t want to drink any coffee but my own cold brew! It’s a perfect fit in the gallon jar, and the mesh doesn’t have any of those wires poking out (you know the ones that scratch you when you try to clean cheap mesh stuff). I’m sure I should have replaced it sooner, but my first filter lasted 3 years.

This is one of the best filters I have used. All the others are not full stainless and end up rusting.
