What is the difference between the lock-jaw hex and Lock-Jaw oly 2?

OLY 2 has more holding power and is roughly twice the weight of the HEX.

How well do these hold up to doing hammer curls? most the reviews are for dead lifts. can i use them on olympic dumb bells w/o weights slipping off?

Very well 600 pounds Holden in place and now it’s going on I say six months As a matter of fact I have another pair for my curl bars
