I then noticed the attractive orange handles they were made and the beautiful clear lids with clear view glass view
This is my first experience with Rachael Ray cookware. When I first removed the cookware from the set, I first noticed how light weight it was. I then noticed the attractive orange handles they were made and the beautiful clear lids with clear view glass view. It's not high end cookware, but it would be welcome in many or most homes. I used this to cook maggi. It was so perfectly cooked and also i don't see any thing stick to the bottom of the pan. They are made beautifully and perfectly for the use of cooking. I love to cook in Rachael Ray cookware. The food was delicious and tasty whenever i use these product for cooking. I always use to cook dal. Unfortunately, one day I forgot to turn off the stove and i see all mess in my kitchen. I see the dal was totally overcooked and some part of it was sticked to the cookware. That could have resulted in quite a mess with some other types of cookware, but it cleaned up quickly and still looked brand new. What I liked: * The design is very modern and attractive. * The glass lids have a sturdy rim that is designed so food will not be easily trapped * The orange handles are non-slip and easy to grip, and they keep very cool while cooking * The small size pots are very handy, and the 6 quart stock pot is a nice small-size stockpot that I'm finding a much better size for my use. * Cleanup was super easy What I didn't like: * The pots seem to be about half the thickness of most of my other pots and pans. While I don't think they would dent easily if dropped, they don't have a sturdy, well made feel to them. * When compared to my Calphalon, they also do not have the same quality hard anodized finish on the outside. * The nonstick coating doesn't feel as high quality as other brands. So far, so good though! * The pans do not have a thick bottom, and seem to heat unevenly. My food scorched quickly, so cooking time and technique will vary from my other cookware. I think this would make a great starter set for someone just starting out on their own. Despite the few flaws that I noticed , I am enjoying using this cookware and cooking just became a little more fun!

New chef in love!
I could hardly make toast when I moved out on my own at 19 and after a year of hamburger helper I started to teach myself to cook. Now 22, I cook every dinner at home for myself and my boyfriend seven days a week and am planning on culinary school in the coming year. This is my first set of decent cookware and I am the happiest chef-in-training ever! The orange handles add beautiful color to my kitchen without being overwhelming. The non-stick coating is absolutely fabulous and has rinsed perfectly after homemade Alfredo sauce, which is notoriously sticky. I wait until they have cooled before rinsing though, as an extra precaution. You want the coating to last as long as possible. They practically wipe clean and the dishwasher-safe feature makes clean-up a dream. All the basic sizes you need are here and I can't wait to purchase some of the speciality pans next. Do make sure to use nylon or bamboo utensils as metal will scratch them. And don't be tempted to use them on high heat because it will ruin the coating for sure. I usually transfer the food to a baking pan if oven time is needed because the handles are only safe to 300 degrees. The lids fit very well too so it really traps the heat. If you need to sear something though, these pans won't work because of the non-stick so I just use an old cast iron for that duty. This is the perfect gift for the aspiring chef in your house. Mine were a birthday present and they're the best gift I've ever recieved. Even after daily use, they're nearly spotless and I love to cook with them more and more every day!

Best daily pots I've owned
Let me admit up front that I'm not a Rachael Ray fan. My wife loves her; she's not my thing. But I will give her credit for these pots - they're pretty good. I bought a Cuisinart set a few years ago that has since flaked and fallen apart. In replacing some specific pots, I picked up a couple of the Rachael Ray ones on the recommendation of a friend who works at Williams-Sonoma (to be fair, her first recommendation was for a proper set of Mauviel copper cookware , but all I needed or have the skill to use, is a basic non-stick set). They've held up very well, so I took the plunge and replaced my entire Cuisinart set with the Rachael Ray ones. The Cuisinart set, like previous budget cookware I've owned like T-Fal , had a black non-stick surface that began to peel and flake off after some use. The Rachael Ray set also has a non-stick surface, but seems more meshed to the pans themselves and I've not noticed any flaking in the two years we've had them, even after daily use and dishwasher abuse. The handles on this set are also really well done, allowing cool, easy gripping and a natural angle. I also appreciate how well the lids fits and how high the handle is off the lid so you don't burn your fingers while removing it. Now whether Rachael Ray actually designed these, or they're just licensed under her name, I'm not sure. But I will say they're the best daily pots and pans I've owned and I definitely recommend them.

Best Value.
This Rachel Ray cook set is very nice. The reason that i bought it where because it was dishwasher safe. And after purchasing it i found that this statement was only partially true. In the instruction that came with my set it states that the hard anodized II set is only dishwasher safe if it is "fully encapsulated" while it is in the dishwasher. i'm still not completely sure what the manufacturer means by this but I have written to them to find out exactly what they meant. Also like most non stick cookware there is a temperature limit. To maintain the factory limited life time warranty you must keep the cookware under a certain temperature. Unfortunately most common stoves and ranges only allow you to select the temperature with the numbers Low 1-10 Hi. So you are going to need to know at what point on your stove to stop so you don't harm your new cook set. The one bad design about these pans are the fact that the handles are riveted to the pans. Food does like to stick to these rivets every time you use them. The last negative point about these pans is the fact according to the manufacture is you are not suppose to use heavy oils in them. Like vegetable or canola oils. You can use lighter oils like olive oil. But only to flavor the food itself. Not a lot to fry or to use as a non stick spray. And you shouldn't have to use a non stick spray with these pans. Other then these complaints this cook set is very nice for the price. Unlike Teflon, hard anodized should never flake off ever. After several months of almost daily use on a couple of the pans, the pans still look brand new on the inside and work just like they did the first time. The out side bottoms of the pans are a different story. I have an electric range and the pans are painted on the out side. They do tend to retain stains and scratch easily. I have not had any problem with the out side paint flaking off however. I gave this set a 4 out of five stars even with it;s flaws. The reason being I'm really comparing it to all the other non stick cookware out there. Teflon and anodized alike. There are better cook sets to be had but they start about the $500 dollar range. So this one doesn't get a five. But compared to everything this set is still better then 95% of the sets out there. I would defiantly buy this set again.

Excellent. Does what it is supposed to do
I am a relatively new cook(1 yr) and this is the first major splurge I have made for the kitchen and I am very happy with the choice. I did a lot of research, read a lot of reviews before I bought this. The 2 things that drew me to it 1. How pretty it looks 2. Dishwasher safe 3. Very very easy to clean 4. Heats up quickly 5. Good size I know the prettiness shouldn't be such an imp factor, but it was and why not! All the utensils are pretty big, so clutter free cooking and food turns out tastier than from other pans/pots for sure. It is light but thats a good thing, it heats up quickly. Heating the pan and cooking an omlette takes ~ 3 minutes Some - 1. The bottom of the pans gets scratched heavily, can't do anything about it 2. The pans aren't exactly heavy-bottomed , so if you need to make something that has to be cooked slowly for a long while -Suggestion:keep an old pan below the pot This is a very good addition to the kitchen. Enjoy & Happy Cooking

The nicest set of cookware I've owned.
These are exactly what I wanted! They are heavy anodized, with a nonpeeling nonstick finish. The handles are soft and stay cool, yet they can go into the oven directly from the stovetop. The lids have wide metal rims that forgive my clumsiness, and they look very nice hanging in my kitchen. The rivets are sturdy and rust/corrosion proof, unlike one brand that I won't name, where the pot fell off the handle while I was getting ready to strain some chicken broth. That made a mess, and the cookware set was supposed to be stainless steel, and was less than 6 months old. The skillets cook fried eggs without sticking. The saute pan, well...sautes. I can also heat it up and throw a steak onto it for 90 seconds, and cleanup is easy. I can't say enough! I have a Circulon cookware set that was a wedding gift. We are going to give it away. This Rachael Ray Hard Anodized II set is far better.

Rachel Ray Set of Pans
Love the set of pans. Light weight, clean up nice. Color wasn't exactly what I wanted, but price was the cheaper than other colored handles.

Highly recommended!
I have always been the type to renew my cookware sets on a pretty frequent basis, so I understand that new pots & pans always elicit high praise. But I have to say of all the sets that I have owned in the past, Calphalon, T-Fal and a host of stainless and copper bottom varieties - these are by far the most practical. I have an electric glass cooktop and have been surprised at how often pots & pans are scorched at the bottom, requiring constant scrubbing with bartender's friend and other cleaners to keep them clean & presentable. I've had these for about a month now and I have not scrubbed them once with anything but a regular dish sponge. They almost repel the usual scorching, and they are solid pans - the lids are also very sturdy and even with occasional dropping, are not damaged one iota. I also love the feel of the handle, silicon-esque but not mushy like others I've had. I am by no means a Rachel Ray "fan", I watch her show on occasion but would not describe myself as loyal to her brand - but these pots, I can attest, are worth every penny. And might I add how reasonably priced they are! Even with 20% coupons to the BB&B's and other dept stores, the pricing still didn't compare. Shipping was fast, and I couldn't be happier that they arrived at my door step with no store shopping necessary. My only compliant is that the 3 sq covered saucepan is smaller than I thought, but my fault for not noticing the size. So I still had to purchase a larger 5 sq saucepan as it's my go to for frying pork & turkey chops, etc. And the larger one that matches this Rachel Ray set (which I purchased separately in addition to this one) is oval shaped - and I cannot decide if I like it. It is great for steaks and other longer shaped items, but I found that I miss the usual round shape for chicken thighs, wings, etc. so purchased a 5 qt in another brand; it stinks that it doesn't match these, but I also have the bakeware with orange silicon grips so everything else in my kitchen on the cookware front matches well so wasn't a huge deal.

Not up to scratch
I’m not impressed with this set at all. It stains easily and the stains are a hassle to get out. You’d have to stop cooking, get the pot off the stove, wipe off any food particles on the sides (burning your fingers while at it) and then put it back on the stove. All of that just to prevent the stains! I’ve tried all the cleaning hacks and liquids and nothing works, it shouldn’t be this hard to clean. It’s just over a month old and I’ve tried to give it some time but I’ve had enough. Going to be asking for a refund because this set isn’t worth the £180.
