I received the BG2040 as a gift.  It works great - that is when it holds a charge.  Is the battery replaceable?

I too had battery issues just 2.5 years after owning it and using it 2-3 times a week. Mostly 2 times for 5 mins at a time. Always took care of it and cleaned it but not i get one 5-10 minute use from it and the battery died completely. Even after a proper full charge in the dock  when it dies. I believe I am just out of the 2.5 year warranty but want to know it Norelco/ Phillips can help me out with a replacement/ fix?  Bc I love it otherwise except the last 2-3 months of these battery issues making it unusable and frustrating. Why do things/ electronics break into i ally just after the warranty expires??? Hmmm...Thanks!

Am I the only one who nicks the privates when using this?

Although rare...I experienced minor nicks to the private area when using the foil end. Take the following steps:1. Prepare area with Neutrogena Men's Sensitive Skin Shave Cream...this is an excellent product...not only for your face.2. After using the shaver, rinse off the blades and use either Remington Shaver Saver, or Phillips Norelco Aerosol Spray Cleaner on the cutting blades.I usually shave my private area every 2 weeks...the Results are well worth the extra steps using these quality products. You'll be 'Proud' to show-off. To whom...that's up to you...

Pubic hair (and pupic hair) has, indeed, been outlawed in NYC.  However, not for the entire State of NY. If you live outside NYC limits, it’s a free-for-all. (Mostly, on Long Island). This is in honor of Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day; when it’s #AllRedPubes and #AllGreenPubes respectively.

Seriously, please exercise extreme caution when trimming all NY pupic hair. Lacerated and mangled testicles will definitely ruin your day. Be well.
