Works like a champ for a variety of things inside or outside the home
I've used this to stick up everything in my new apartment. It is rather heavy duty and I'm impressed. Once something's mounted on it's not coming off for anything. It's very lightweight but isn't terribly thin. There's definitely some cushion in there. I wish it were clear and not black because it's a bit of an eyesore tbh. But as long as whatever you're using it on isn't clear and you make sure it's not peeking out the edges it's not really problem. I've used it for most of the pictures in my home, and when the Velcro on one of my curtain sashes kept falling off (it used some form of sticky tape to adhere it to the fabric so I figured why not) I used it to mend it and it's worked perfectly. I also used it to adhere a thin metal sign to the outside of my door and it's held up perfectly too. Through the hot sun, wind, and very heavy rain it hasn't budged. So I consider it heavy duty & quite versatile. It's super easy to use. You simply pull out the amount you need, snip it off with scissors and apply it. It's helpful if you press it firmly on the surface then take off the red plastic backing, then press the item onto whatever it is you want to stick it to. And you're done. Taking it off is far more laborious. It very well might break thinner frames when you try to take them off the wall. It's best to try to pull it away from the surface at all angle slowly. You may have to soften it with a hair dryer. I have had some success by using the edge of a hard surface to kind of pull it away from what it's adhered to. But it takes effort to remove it from whatever it's stuck too. Make sure of its placement. As I said it's black so it isn't pretty when hanging things, so you do have to be careful. That hasn't been much of an issue. I did want to use an adhesive on some clear acrylic shelves, so I ended up having to buy some clear tape so I wouldn't have unsightly black tape all over my walls. However that brand was not nearly as strong as this brand so I ended up having to screw them in anyway. Which I probably should have done in the first place. But in general this is a very reliable adhesive that you can for a bunch of different things.

Strongest, double sided, sticky tape I have ever found
This is the fourth roll.I have purchased, and although it's gone up in price over the last few years. It's still the best adhesive type I have ever found. It held a license plate on a truck for over twenty thousand miles through hot summers and freezing winters. Cut into small length it's holding power impressive. We used 2 foot strip to attach our soundbar There's a bottom of our tv and it's held up for 3 years. Separating the tape from the backing is a little fiddly, but that's due to the high high adhesiveness of the tape. A sharp pocket knife or craft knife we have found works best for getting the backing off. Once you apply the tape, press firmly to hold whatever you're sticking together. Holding for 20 or 30 seconds with as much pressure as you can apply seems to really set the tape.

Strong tape !
If you need something to be held really good, this tape will hold it. The only issue to have with it is the peeling of the protector to stick to the wall or item. Hard to take it off. But if you can manage that , worth it!

3 months in and going strong
I used this double side tape for installing a spoiler on my car and after snow, rain and harsh weather it's lasting well. It's like it's glued on. I did spend some time on prep work which is essential for this. Cleaned well, used adhesion promoter and installed it in a 60 degrees + inside my garage. All that is needed to ensure proper adhesion. If done correctly the tape will do it's job.

Great tape
Strong tape. Works well outside and in the elements. Seems to be holding up.

Great for permanent fixtures
It's incredible how grippy this stuff is. I wish it were a little easier to peel the plastic film off, but it isn't so bad. Be forewarned that it can be rather difficult to "change your mind" after you've secured something with this tape.

Move aside Command Strips. This stuff holds up a 74” curtain with ease.
Trying hang a 74” curtain without damaging the drywall and my go-to for this type of task used to always be Command Strips, but this proved to be too much as I always wake up with a curtain rod on the ground and the Command Stripped curtain rod hook on the ground right next to it. This tape never even budged when I hung the curtain and even with the curtain slid all the way to the side where the weight is solely on the hook, the tape holds strong. Not sure if it’s gonna take any paint off when removing but so far, this is some space-age stuff. *30 days in: the weight of 1 curtain panel pulling down on it seems to have unstuck some of the adhesive and was on the edge of falling if I didn’t see it in time. So while it’s still the best adhesive I’ve found for hanging stuff in apartments, it may not be as solid as I originally stated. Still not sure if it has taken any paint off the walls though.

excellent tape
Very strong product, it sticks while no others can (I’ve wasted money on some of those cheap crappy ones); it’s Made in USA at least (tiny prints at the back)

Super Strong and Reliable – Exceeded Expectations!
Scotch Extreme Mounting Tape really lives up to its name. I used it to mount a few heavy items in my garage and around the house, and it hasn’t budged at all. The adhesive is incredibly strong, and the 400-inch roll gives you plenty to work with. I love that it sticks to rough surfaces like brick and concrete just as well as smooth walls. It’s been holding up great, even in areas with temperature swings. Perfect for anyone looking for a heavy-duty alternative to screws or nails. Highly recommend!
