My favorite thing about the approach described in this book is ...
I read the previous book in this series, called "The Imagineering Pyramid." That book explains how to use many specific techniques in a variety of creative projects. The Imagineering Process takes this a step further, focusing on the various phases of development of a project. These books complement each other very well. The first book gives you the tools; the second book gives you a framework for organizing your use of those tools. My favorite thing about the approach described in this book is that it is very flexible. There is a section in the book that suggests ways of adapting the process to fit the needs of different kinds of projects. For example, sometimes two phases will blend together and overlap. Sometimes you will apply the phases in an iterative way, cycling back through the phases as you refine your design.I can't recommend this book, and the Imagineering Pyramid, highly enough.

Makes me want to build and launch something!
If you loved his last book, you will absolutely love this one. It is so practical, and his prompts to action and applying it to your circumstances are spot on. Just like his Imagineering Pyramid book, his contacts, research, and experiences come through so well. Creativity, IP, and implementation junkies alike will live this book!

Learn how Disney Imagineering works!
Learning a lot from Lou about Imagineering and how to apply it to everyday life with this book and the previous book in this series, The Imagineering Pyramid. You can absolutely tell Lou loves this topic, which makes him the perfect person to write this books. I highly suggest get BOTH books!
