Power Acoustik RZ1-1500D 1500W Class D Monoblock Amplifier, Black

I've been using it almost everyday since i got it (exactly 5 months today) and it's consistently performing with no problems. it's tiny, but it packs the full size punch. my previous amp was a 15 year old pioneer mono block. this one hits harder and stays pretty cool. because it's smaller and lighter, it slides around a little bit, but that's not a problem. it comes with screws to mount it to your speaker box. for the sale price, it is the best bang for your buck. you could probably get class-AB blocks cheaper, but they are old tech prone to overheating. long story short - walmart's gonna charge you twice this price for an amp with half the power. it's the best deal on amazon.

This thing is high quality...for real. My old amp Like a lot of other people have said, when I first saw this thing I was shocked how small it is. It's about half the size of my previous amp, a hi-fonics 1000 watt max amp, which I always questioned if it was a piece of crap because it was powering just one 12" subwoofer and the bass just didn't hit as hard as I'd like but I just kind of accepted it because I didn't really want to spend what I figured would be about $150 for a new amp. Finally I just decided to at least look for a new amp. I saw this one for 80 dollars and was instantly very skeptical how this small of an amp could produce 900 watts RMS at 2 ohms, but pepple on here say it can power two subwoofers and sound clean so I figured it could power my one and sound clean. I must say.. damn I am beyond impressed. This thing makes my sub hit hard and sounds very clean. Now I just need to located and fix the rattles in my trunk. I've had no overheating issues either. Can't say it enough, this this is great, and at a ridiculously low price it's a steal.

I spent this morning installing this amp, and I must say I am impressed. I have this hooked up to one JBL 12"subwoofer and it sounds great. Like the other reviewers I was amazed at how small this amp is. My sub is a single voice coil 4 ohm. I wish I would have bought the duel voice coil version now. Anyway, They must have had this mispriced when I bought it, because I ended up with it for $49.99 shipped. I have not noticed any heat issues, and I will update this review. I cannot comment on the remote as I did not install it (I have a EQ that has boost xover etc. Really my only gripe with it is the plastic end caps and needing a really long Phillips to attempt to bolt it to the floor via a drill. For what I paid for it I think it is great. Has a lot of power for its size.

This amp is great for starter system that you cant replace or want to keep your stock head unit. Worked great with a 12 inch pioneer premiere rated 1000w rms @ 2ohm. Which was already broken in. But under power my brand new nvx vcw124 rated 850-1000w rms at 2 ohm. Only get ths gain about 60% before distortion(bass starts to sound bad). Very small amp fits in small places screwed right to my back seat. Had running for about a year never blew a fuse nor had any problems of any kind. Bass knob only goes half way before distortion. Used high level input from back speakers **Does not do its rated power** but in my opinion it did what it needed n never failed there for 4 stars. Look at pictures for more info. The carbord is size of amp compared to ps4 control n a big bic lighter.

Installed this in my MKV VW GTI under the trunk cover next to the spare tire. Fit snugly in the foam storage area that measures exactly 10" wide, fit snug and cut a little notch in the foam to run the wires out. Makes my little ported 10" sound good and evenly tuned across the Hz spectrum. Though when tuning I didn't notice any difference change in the subsonic range probably because my 10" doesn't go that low of Hz to be noticable. Does it put out the actual watts rating, probably on the low side but I have now way to test this. However my 1x10" has plenty of clean power, so I'm happy. Note: there is no Low Pass Filter switch like on other Amps but tuning the settings was a breeze. Settings are: Pre-amp input - max, subsonic, ~30Hz, bass boost ~3/4 turned up on 45Hz give a nice punch, Filter/Hz Range - lowest Hz setting ~30Hz. Wired using RCA input, 6 guage power/ground cable (tight fit, but no shaving needed) and 16 gauge speaker wire.

Not nearly 1500 watts but it does work ok.

For the size, and what I need it to do, perfect. small form factor for my truck install made it hard to get decent power to my subs. This works well. Though its a safe bet that its not 1500 watts at 2 ohms. I had this amp on a 15" power acoustik MOFO to see what it could do, and it barely worked the beast.

Didn't expect the amp to be so small When it came in the mail I opened it and couldn't help but laugh This is a super tiny amp !! Anyway I'm using it to run a jbl band pass 12 inch sub Since I wanted to hide the amp I shove a mono block D amp And to my amazement this thing provides super clean power to the Sub with no hesitation And I'm running it at a full 1500 watts rims at 1ohm I know it doesn't supply the full 1500 probably more like 1200 but still not bad for the price when it's on sale it's worth every penny

Fantastic little amplifier that packs a big punch for the size. Only running two 10's, but it runs them with ease. Shipping was also incredibly fast.

I'm running a 10" sub and this amp is more than capable. I wasn't expecting it to be as small as it is too, which was a bonus. I still need to use my trunk, and I need as much space as possible. This amp tucked nicely up on the roof of the trunk out of the way. I'm totally satisfied with this amp!
