Honestly, I hesitated to write this review, because the last thing I want is for this conditioner to become so popular that its standards start to drop, as seems to be the case for lots of products/companies. That’s a ridiculous worry to have, I know, but I truly delayed this review for that reason. I originally picked up a bottle of this years ago at TJ Maxx, and I never used anything else ever again - until I moved and the nearest TJ Maxx was an hour away. That’s when I truly realized how impressive this conditioner is. I tried salon brands and even they nowhere near compared to this conditioner. I even looked online at the TJ Maxx online store and couldn’t find it there. Ultimately I thought of Amazon and I am THRILLED. This is the last conditioner you’ll ever buy. It smells heavenly and truly makes your hair so smooth and tangle-free - it feels like silk in the shower. I actually came to hate showering when I ran out of this because I hated the texture of my wet hair when I was using other products. This has actually restored my enjoyment of the bathing process. Could not recommend more.

My hair feels great when I consistently use this conditioner. It’s thick with a light scent, and makes my hair feel healthier.

Great product, but upon opening package, conditioner bottle seems to have burst open, was packed in a bag within the box and contents were spilled out upon opening box. Other than that, this product is great- will continue to purchase in future. Knocked off a star due to the state of product upon delivery

Finally!! First, my hair is EXTREMELY thick, frizzy, low porosity and kinky-curly (3c hair type). That, mixed with living in a desert climate = hair like straw, extremely dry, breakage and horribly frizzy! I first tried this in a set that came with a deep conditioning hair mask, serum and shampoo (which was advertised on evine, which is similar to HSN & QVC). The first time I used it I immediately noticed how it softened my hair....Unbelievable. My hair was so thirsty, it was dehydrated. I have tried: Deva Curl One condition daily, Mixed Chicks deep condish, Ouidad, all of the Shea Moisture lines, Bed Head Moisture Manic, Nexxus, Fekkai and others that I can't remember, too many to count.....none of them could give me what I was needing in a condish. I needed slip, detangling and MOST of all, MOISTURE. Theorie hit all 3! I am so happy. As I continue to use it, my hair is improving more and more. When my hair is completely dry (I air dry), my hair lays nicer, has more of a healthy sheen and way less frizz. Because the conditioner adds a great amount of moisture, my hair looks a little longer, I think because of the added moisture there is less shrinkage. I comb it through in the shower and then tie it up while I finish. After it has sat in my hair for about 15 minutes, I rinse it out but am careful to leave some in. I then use Kinky-Curly Knot Today leave-in then follow with a cocktail of argan and coconut oils. I then hit my front edges with Cream of Nature "Perfect Edges" that contains argan oil then lightly smooth it with a boar bristle brush. I get great results with this process.

I have been using this for the last 3 years with amazing results and have been buying it real cheap (half price or less) at Marshall’s but didn’t find it this time. Check your local store for any similar conditioner of this Theory series, they all do the same excellent job!

Oh my god. I used the conditioner for the first time this morning and it’s been a rollercoaster lol. The stickers meant to prevent the conditioner from leaking not only did not prevent leaking in the packaging (to be fair, it wasn’t a huge amount), but because my hand dexterity isn’t great, I ended up fighting a losing battle to remove the stickers from the nozzle and ended up covered in the conditioner. Thankfully, it smells lovely! Once in the shower and after applying a generous amount and letting it sit for at least five minutes, I was nervous as I rinsed- my hair felt brittle and tangled, but I finished rinsing and put my hair in a towel. I added my usual detangler/leave in after letting my hair air dry a bit, before combing through. I am SO GLAD I trusted the process- my hair feels so soft, nourished and healthy, and felt that was as soon as I ran the comb through while it was still fairly wet. I have vivid emerald hair that I use bond-strengthening products for and keeping it healthy and shiny are very important to me. Despite how much I put on my hair, it feels light and bouncy! I wish I had gotten a before pic; this conditioner is AMAZING!!!

My hair is low porosity; very fine, damaged (from bleaching and curling), and 1B (straight with a slight wave in the middle of the strands). I’ve been on a hair health journey for the last two years and my hair is growing but still breaking. I’ve tried everything! I don’t know if it’s finally doing better bc I chopped off a lot of the breakage a couple months ago but I bought this conditioner about 2 weeks ago and I’m in love! Not only am I obsessed with the way this stuff smells but I genuinely notice a difference in my hairs texture and overall appearance. I’ve even been getting compliments from people on how soft and shiny my hairs been looking. The only con is the price! I bought the smaller bottle and wish I had bought the bigger one but dang it, wish it was a little bit more affordable but you get what you pay for. Now I have to buy the shampoo 😫
