Very cool book on terrain for tabletop
This book has the right mix of instruction, pictures, and description. These projects are versatile, challenging, but not overwhelming. Highly useful and highly recommended for anyone looking to build tabletop terrain for diorama, Wargames, or rpgs.

Great Purchase!
I’ve been playing miniature war games for a long time and have just started becoming interested in scenery/terrain. This book is an awesome starter to intermediate guide on everything you will ever need for your tabletop. I’ve already recommended to a friend and I’m looking forward to working through some of the projects in the books.

Very helpful
The book covers the basics of wargame terrain making as well as more advanced subjects too. Mr. Davies has written and enjoyable and very understandable book on this subject. If you are a wargamer or even a diorama builder this book is an excellent read.

Great Basics
Davies' many articles have helped and inspired me. This book is great for the basics, but his articles in magazines have generally been more advanced and included very specific "recipes".I'd love a collection of his past articles, but would only recommend this book for someone fairly new to terrain making.

A good source of ideas
If you're interested in making wargaming or diorama terrain then this book is worth a look. Some things I knew and some method I've been using for years, but there were other elements that I hadn't heard of or even considered before and I'm certain I will use some of them in the future.

best how to book for model scenery
I have been in model Railroading, war gaming, and even Dungeons and dragons over my 60 plus years. This is the best "how to" make everything for model terrain that you need from scratch reference that I have seen in my life! Well illustrated and easy to follow along.

Good quality print, but information is readily available elsewhere for free
Nice photos, and high quality print book. However the bulk of the information is available on YouTube as tutorials. The new info i got was to use a surgical scalpel instead of a craft knife if possible and the suggestion that fake fur can make good grass if you trim it to look realistic. Not worth $60 imho. If i had paid $25 I would be ok with it. If you hate watching videos or have literally no experience making terrain this is a good place to start, however i think the GW book is cheaper and probably has similar information. The author rambles at points, some good editing could have taken this down to about 200 pages.
