The product is excellent I can recomend this book, because you can learn to much if you have discipline and compromise. So Im very happr knowing and learning protugues.Everyone, my recomendation is: if you want to know Brazil and Speak portugues (oficial language there) Ponto de Encontro is your key, simple no? thanks

I bought this for a class then dropped it. I sold them to a friend though and they worked great with her class. The book came in perfect condition and had no writing, dog ears, or highlights.

I would give the book itself, and the activities a 5 star rating. I like the layout, and it pairs well with the book, and listening exercises. find that the option to do Potugal Portuguese or Brazilian Portuguese very fun. I also like how you have plenty of options and exercises to cover any topic in the book. The numbering of the activities and the pages can be confusing, but you get used to it soon. I would recommend doing the activities while learning something in the book and listening to the audio tape. I think that way, it really cements itself in. The only complaint I have was from the seller, I bought the book from. I ordered the textbook brand new, and received a used book with pen markings and completed exercises up to the second chapter, including some of the second chapter. Other than that, it is a good book.

Unfortunately the class was cancelled and, therefore, the book was returned. The manual would have been a very good tool to further support learning the language.

Purchased this with a dictionary for my portuguese class and it was fantastic although we didn't use it much. I still have it and work on it to practice my portuguese. I love it! easy to understand.

Over half the book was filled out. Don’t get me wrong, I know I bought a used book, but I figured maybe a couple pages completed. Not half the book. Completely useless.

It does not match up with the recordings that are supposed to go with it. Also, some questions look like the authors got lazy, and didn't finish organizing them.
